It had been a year since this all started. The city was quieter. The water was cleaner. Lucius's filters have worked to cleanse the water for the city and people of Gotham. Standing on a rooftop, decked in crimson from neck to toes, Eliza inhaled deep. She made her way down to the Sirens Club then inside through the back. Walking in, Barbara looked to her. "Well, how is it out there?" She asked. "Fairly good. The water is clean." Eliza reported. "Good. Glad it is. Now, here's that five hundred you wanted. For another five hundred I need you to do something else." Barbara told her. Eliza began to lift her chin. Looking down at her. "Don't gimme that righteous look. It's for you, too." She said. Eliza lowered her chin, her interest piqued. "I need you to grab a part from Ed and Oswald's submarine. I know you won't remember what it's called. It's a disc with numbers and a hand on it. It's important for their travel. They're not leaving here without me and this baby. Plus, it will give you time to talk Edward into staying with you." She said. "Why do you care about that all of a sudden?" Eliza asked her. "I want you happy." She replied. Eliza took the five hundred and walked on. "Yeah right. But I'll do it." Eliza said, on her way out. "Thank you! And hide it in the basement hallway of the hospital!" Barbara commanded, just before Eliza left out the doors. She snuck to the submarine in the night. Going up the steps, she watched her back. Then turned the handle and opened the hatch. Dropping in, she looked around. No sign of Oswald or Edward. She walked on into the cabin and spotted the part. Using her knife she unscrewed the bolts and pried it out of the socket. Separating the wires then making her escape, no one seen her.
She snuck into the hospital basement and looked around. Then hid the part behind a fire extinguisher in a cabinet. She ran off and slipped out of the hospital exit. Walking along the streets she spotted light flickering from a dark building. Stopping dead in her tracks she watched the lights. Then heard a man yell. Turning towards the building, curiosity ate at her. While the warning not to enter pulled. Battling and debating, she took a step forward and walked on to the building. She made her way in above and through the roof. Crawling carefully, she made it to an opening. A rat scurried away and she peeked in below. Seeing a man sitting upright on a stretcher. Dressed in dark clothing and looking built like a brick house, facing a woman in black clothing. "Only phase one of the plan is complete now." The woman spoke softly. Eliza remembered the voice. From the radio. "I hope your plans go well." Hugo Strange purred. "One more adjustment." Hugo added. The built man lied on the stretcher again. Eduardo! The man was Eduardo! Hugo reached and fixed a cable on his chest. Eduardo spotted Eliza and his eyes grew intense. Grabbed Hugo's wrist, he shoved him aside as Eliza dropped in and onto Eduardo's torso. The stretcher collapsed and he grunted. "Who the hell are you?!" Walker asked. Eliza rolled off of Eduardo as he grabbed the bottom of her long jacket. She slipped her arms out and went for Walker. The two began to fight with Walker blocking Eliza's shots at her. "Bane!" She called out. Eliza went for a left hook to her but was blocked. She drove her knee into Walker's stomach then held her hair as it was grabbed by Bane. "I remember you." He said, in a deep, growly voice not like his normal sound. He pulled her back from Walker. "You're not destroying this city." Eliza told her. "So you're another one of them who loves this godforsaken place." Walker said. "How about we change that?" She asked. "You wouldn't dare..." Eliza spoke, but felt a needle in the back of her neck. The room began to spin and everything went white.
Coming to, she was on a new stretcher. Looking at a light that was removed from her. Walker and Bane were looking at her. "Good luck." Hugo told her then walked away. "Bane? How do you feel about having a girlfriend?" Walker asked him. "Mmmm." He grumbled. "There was...something there. Before." He responded. "Good! Then you'll be compatible." Walker said. She pressed a remote and Eliza's eyes went back in her head then forward. She sat up and turned then stood beside Bane. He handed her, her jacket back. "Now, you two come with me. We need to go over the plan." Walker commanded. Eliza put her jacket on and walked out ahead of Bane. Following Walker. She lead them to an area and discussed the schematics of the plan. First was to kidnap Jim Gordon, the head of the Military support and Bruce Wayne. "I can get Bruce Wayne." Eliza said. "I trust she can." Bane responded. "Good! Off you go." She told them. Bane gathered a few men and got a truck. First thing in the morning, they set out. Riding in the back of the truck trailer, they held onto straps. The truck kept driving straight then turned. As soon as it stopped, the back door opened. A few men went out and Eliza slipped out then to the side of the truck. She aimed with her tranquilizer gun and watched through the smoke. Then climbed onto the back of the truck and hid, aiming. She spotted Bruce Wayne and pulled the trigger. Sending a dart into his neck. He was instantly out and dropped to the ground. She hopped down. "I got him!" She told a man about to grab him. She took his jacket and dragged his unconscious body to the truck. He was lifted inside then she was helped in and the doors closed. The truck roared away with all inside.
