Im in love with the Blue (Blue Beetle/Jaime Reyes x Reader)

I've read way too many Jaime X Reader books over the past week to not do one of these and now I'm kinda buzzing to read my own story like wtf is wrong w me?

You're a hero that use hand to hand combat and was taught by the Batfamily after yo accidentally got yourself into trouble with the Joker, but that wasn't your fault. You then got into an explosion at Star Labs on a mission with NightWing, Batgirl and the blue boy himself. In that explosion, it gave you the powers of flight and telekinisis. You guys have been friends since then and Jaime has been helping you learn how to fly. You guys didn't now each other's secret identities yet. Yet.

"Okay I get it Blue, you're the better one at flying. But you can't move objects with your mind!" You said as you lifted up a random rock up as you stopped flying with your Blue friend. You could only lift it a few centimeters off of the ground as your mind powers weren't that strong.

"Nice try (Y/H/N)! You're getting better!" Blue Beetle smiled.

You two were out having fun whilst on 'patrol' even though nothing was really happening in your area. It was Blue's idea to run off. But to be honest, you enjoyed it. He was teaching you how to control your flight better. You didn't have Impulse bugging you two about going out. You loved the blue bug. He was always so nice. He made you feel like you belonged on that team.

"Blue be careful when flying!" You spoke to him before he had to doge a sign.

"Close one. Thank you Mi Hermana!" He replied back to you. You smiled as he dodged the sign.

You two raced around the place like you were little kids. You both enjoyed one another's company. It felt.....right.

"Blue Beetle, (Y/H/N), we have an issue at happy harbor. Rendezvous at the co-ordinates I'm sending to Blue." NightWing interrupted you and Blue Beetle through the communicators.

"Recieved. Blue Beetle out." Blue replied back to NightWing. He looked at you. "Spoiling our fun as per usual. Lets go." He says as he holds a hand out for you to hold so he can fly you guys there quicker. So you take his hand and you fly over.

As you get there, you're greeted by BatGirl, NightWing, Impulse and Beast Boy. They're looking at a bunch of villains down by the docks. Mr Freeze, Harley Quinn, Queen Bee, Klarion and Psimon.

'I can see why Miss Martian isn't here.' You said to yourself in your head

"(Y/H/N) and Blue, I want you two to go in as close as you can to find out what you can. Make sure you're in stealth mode. Impulse, speed into the boat that's coming in without being caught and find out what they're doing. BatGirl and Beast Boy, You're with me and we're on stand by." NightWing said before you pressed your logo on your chest which turned your suit into stealth colours. You waited for Nightwing to give the signal before you and Blue Beetle got to another roof without being spotted yet.

You looked at the Blue bug standing next to you. He was looking at the villains intently. "Scarab picking anything up?" You questioned.

"Yeah. Something about....'Metagenes'?" He said catching himself in confusion. "What even are they?" He paused. "What?! I'm not going to kill her!" He added.

"Scarab?" You asked.

"Si. It keeps telling me to eliminate all in the surroundings." He sighed.

"You'll control it one day." You smiled. He smiled back before he moved back away from you a little. Battle had begun. He moved because he was nearly shot with an ice blast by Mr Freeze. You both looked down at them.
