Digivolve my love for you (Marcus Damon x Reader)

3rd Person POV

Marcus Damon was your average school boy until he met Agumon. Then he met Yoshino Fujieda. He became a member of DATS and went under tonnes and tonnes of missions to stop his world and the Digital World from colliding. But his toughest challenge yet, was to get along and learn to love (Y/N) Sampson, daughter of Richard Sampson aka the operator of DATS.

"(Y/N) Sampson is returning." Commander Sampson announced.

"SHE'S WHAT?!" Miki and Megumi screamed. She was already a previous member of the team but she chose to do her studies in Australia and then make a return to DATS at a later date, which seems to be soon.

"That's right. She's returning soon. I'm going to let her surprise you guys for when she comes back. Apparently her and Renamon have become stronger." Commander Sampson added.

"Who even is she? She'll never be as strong as Agumon and I!" Marcus boasted.

"She's at the same knowledge level as I am and I think she'd whoop your behind in a battle. She was quite strong before she left." Thomas replied back to Marcus' statement.

"He's quite right." Yoshi added.

"I'd love to see her try." Marcus grunted.

"And I'd love to see if your ego is as strong as you say you are." (Y/N) said as she walked in.

"(Y/N)!" Megumi, Miki and Yoshi yelled in shock before running to her. They bombarded her with questions and hugs.

"So Thomas. You returned too. Nice to see you." She greeted.

"Nice to see you too. How were your studies?" He asked.

"Passed with flying colors. But who's this?" (Y/N) asked Thomas.

"Damon. Marcus Damon." Marcus said.

"Your new work partner." Commander Sampson added.

"WORK PARTNER?!" Marcus and (Y/N) yelled in sync.

"Whilst Keenan is socializing as a normal boy, there are four active members. (Y/N), Thomas, Yoshi and Marcus. It would make sense that Thomas and (Y/N) would be split up because of their intelligence and Marcus needs someone to set him straight instead of being reckless, Thomas is too mellow to do that." The commander explained.

"First mission. There's been a digimon sighting East of Marcus' school." Miki stated.

"Better get going then. Renemon Realise." (Y/N) said. "Come on Marcus." She added.

"Why am I taking orders from you!" He argued.

"Just get a move on!" She snapped.

With that they both ran out of HQ. They got there and found a Crescemon. Marcus was trying to show of but the Crescemon healed itself somehow.

"What?!" Marcus yelled.

"Can Greymon not do it?" (Y/N) teased.

"Your Kyubimon has done nothing!" He retaliated.

"Thought Greymon was strong?" She continued to tease. "Now Kyubimon! Lets finish this!" (Y/N) commanded Kyubimon.

"On It! Dragon tail!" Kyubimon said as it preformed Dragon tail, taking Crescemon straight out with one hit.

"Looks like we'll be training you guys then." (Y/N) smiled.

"Shut up." Marcus sighed.
