Chapter 6
The Wedding

Allura felt like she was about to trip and fall down with each step she took down the aisle. She glanced at all the familiar faces (and some that she had never seen before) and the expressions they all held.

She could her some girls quietly whisper about her dress. Allura herself was very pleased with her dress since it was definitely not a mainstream wedding gown.

As she glanced at the alter, something she had avoided doing, she saw Draco Malfoy's face look back at her, his face blank but his eyes filled with mixed emotions, Allura couldn't quite point out.

The whole place was decorated beautifully and she couldn't deny that the Malfoys knew how to do weddings.

Sirius and Remus placed her hand in Draco's before going to take their seats

Sirius and Remus placed her hand in Draco's before going to take their seats.

Allura and Draco took their places and the wizard standing in front of the couple started the official ceremony.

"Ladies and gentlemen," he said. "We are gathered here today to witness and to celebrate the beautiful union of two souls who hereby promise themselves to each other."

The rest of the ceremony was a blur for Allura as she heard sobs from various people in the crowd and felt her mouth move to speak.

"I take you as you are..."

"Cherish you every day of my life..."

"Be faithful..."

"To love..."

"See no one other than you..."

"Until our life shall be done."

Allura's brain registered no word leaving her mouth until the words 'I Do' rolled her tongue.

"Do you Draco Lucius take Chardonnay Allura...?"

Allura glanced at her brother who was silently sobbing as well.

A tear escaped her eyes as the wizard spoke, allowing them to exchange rings.

She looked at her beautiful ring before slipping Draco's ring onto his finger

"...I declare you bonded for life."

Flowers fell around the couple and birds of paradise started singing. All sorts of celebrations started as the wizard asked everyone to rise.

"I take great pleasure in announcing, for the very first time, Mr. and Mrs. Draco Lucius Malfoy."

Everyone clapped as Draco and Allura took each other's hand, ready to greet all the guests.

Harry was the first to reach and hug Allura.

"I'm going to miss you." He whispered to her.

It was then, that Allura realised that for the very first time in their life, her brother and her won't be living together. They were about to be separate for the very first time in their life and this separation would last pretty much the rest of their life.

"I'll miss you more." She whispered back, squeezing once for letting go.

"Welcome to the family!" Her now, mother in law said, hugging her.

"You're still a kid." Remus said as he hugged her while Sirius threatened Draco.

"I'm not afraid of going back to Azkaban." Sirius warned Draco.

"Oh, stop it." Allura said as she gave him a hug.

"James was supposed to be here." Sirius whispered making Chardonnay let out a shaky breath. She had always missed the parents she never had. "He would have been crying out an ocean. He always said that his daughter would never leave her father's house. He always said that he'd spoil you too rotten for you to do it."

Chardonnay let a tear escape her eyes at the mention of her father.

"You've grown up to be an amazing person, Lily would have been proud." Remus said.

Allura gave them a shaky smile as she and Draco continued to greet and thank all the guests.

But for the next few minutes, the only thing she could think about was how different life would have been if the people the resurrection stone had shown were alive.
