Bella Jackson was born March 17, 1951 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Her parents are Garnet and Thomas Jackson. They lived on the North West side of town.

Bella was bullied at her school in elementary. She was super sensitive. There was one girl who took bullying too extremely for Bella.

Bella dressed differently than other girls. While they wore dresses, she wore flannels and jeans. While they had ribbons and curls, she had hers pulled back in a greasy ponytail.

Bella's main bully was Elaine Chase. She was the popular girl at school. She was the rich kid who lived on the South side of town. She had red hair, she always had on a pink dress and had pink ribbons in her hair.

Elaine would lead a whole group of people in calling Bella, Cowbell. They would laugh at her, call her poor, pull on her ponytail, and threw grass at her.

One day, things went a little too far...

After a usual day of work, being called names, and eating by herself at lunch (for she has no friends) she walked home from school, alone. She as used to the fact of being alone, though she hated it.

As she was walking a familiar voice called behind her "Hey Cowbell!"
Bella quickened her pace, but the footsteps behind her got louder.

She started to run, but Elaine caught up to her in 2 seconds.

She pulled on her backpack so hard, it caused Bella to fall backward with a loud grunt. "That's not a sound a cowbell makes!" laughed Elaine. Two other girls were with her and were laughing.

Bella's eyes started to water.

Elaine grabbed a handful of grass and pried Bella's mouth open, forcefully. "Here, Cowbell. Eat your food!"

Bella choked back tears as the nasty taste filled her mouth.

"-HEY!" yelled several voices from behind.

Elaine and her friends turned around to see three boys, crossing their arms at them with angry looks.

"You leave the kid alone!" one of the boys said, who was the eldest and looked about 13 or 14.
"-Or what?" Elaine said with her arms crossed and one foot on Bella's stomach.

"Oh, kid. You did not just say that to me." said the boy, cracking his knuckles. Elaine and her friends started to look a little scared. "AHHHH!!!!" yelled the boys as they ran after them.

The two other boys stopped at Bella's feet and helped her up. "You all right?" said the elder of the two.

Bella spat the grass out, several times, and nodded her head.

She looked up at the boy. He had olive skin, greasy hair, and wore a jean jacket.

"Why were they doing that to you?" asked the other boy who was wearing a sweatshirt and jeans.

Bella hesitated for a moment, but then said "Why wouldn't they? I'm nothing like them. I'm just trash. They make fun of my name. They do it because I'm different."

"Stupid Socs." said the boy.

"Socs? What are those?" Bella asked confused. "You don't know?" the boy asked, surprised. "No." replied Bella.

"Socs are the rich kids who live on the South side and think they're better than everyone else."

"Oh..." replied Bella. "But, me and my friends are Greasers. We're the poor kids who have only friends to look out for and we live on the North side.

"Where do you live?" asked the boy in the jean jacket. "Over there," Bella said as she pointed forward.

"You live on the North Side, just like us." said the boy. Bella smiled. "I'm Johnny Cade." said the tanned boy with the Jean Jacket.

"And I'm...Ponyboy Curtis." said the other boy. "I'm Bella Jackson." Bella replied.

"Over there is Dallas." said Johnny, pointing to the elder boy, who was standing by a gate, smoking a cigarette.

"Want us to walk ya home?" he asked. Bella nodded Bashfully. "Alright. Dallas come on!" said Ponyboy.

"I'm coming, man." said Dallas, throwing his cigarette on the ground. "Where are we going?" asked Dallas. "To drop the girl home." said Ponyboy.

"All right." said Dallas.

As they were walking, Johnny asked "How old are ya?"
"10, almost 11. How 'bout you?" asked Bella.

"I'm 11, almost 12." Johnny replied. "I'm 10." said Pony.
"Dallas is 13." replied Johnny.

Small time skip-----------------------

They got to Bella's front porch. "If you want to come see us, my house is a block away. It's not hard to miss." said Ponyboy.

"Okay," replied Bella, shyly.
"See you around,"  Johnny winked. "Okay."
"See ya, doll face," said Dallas.

Once they left. Bella went inside her house where her dad was reading the newspaper and her mother was in the kitchen, making dinner.

A/N: Yes, I know I used Carmelita Spats from Series of Unfortunate events, but when I made the Elain's character, she seemed just like her, idk...
