The morning held nothing but fighting and competition, the two male wizards were focused on impressing the young girl. Meanwhile she would trail behind them as they butted heads, paying more attention to the forest then her company. Happy and Ivory were in the middle, {Y/n} lagged behind while they got a clear view of the two males. It would take approximately fifteen more minutes of walking at this pace to get to the fishing village but to the exceed had already felt like they had been flying for hours. Once about ten of those fifteen minutes were up {Y/n} came to a stop, telling to group to stop as well.

"Something isn't right." She said, looking around her surroundings. The other two wizards were confused while the young girl was sure she had felt a disturbance within the forest, a cluster of magic power that shouldn't of been there. To make matters worse the more she focused on that power the sooner she realized how close it was, about a meter behind her. Natsu and Gray had watched her scan the area like she was crazy, but when she turned and fired a spell into the nothing behind her they had been sure she lost her mind. To their surprise a familiar face had showed up from that nothingness, being knocked back by the young girl's spell.  

"Freed?" The two males said simultaneously, the green haired wizard getting up from the ground while dusting himself off. 

"Ah...Well I hadn't expected that enchantment to fool you for long." He said to {Y/n}, lifting his chin once he fixed himself up. He knew if he had stayed farther back he wouldn't of been found out but he had gotten cocky which ultimately led to his downfall. "I suppose I will be on my way now." He said casually and went to turn around only to be stopped by the {hair color} haired girl.

"Wait! Who put you up to this?" She called then turned him around to face her.

"I can't tell you, he'll get mad and I do-." He started but she cut him of.

"So it's a he?" She frowned, her gaze narrowing. She had been able to decide exactly who it was, knowing it was a man only confirmed her suspicions. "It was Laxus, I swear I'm gonna kill him. He doesn't talk to me for what? Years? And now he sends someone to 'keep an eye' on me." She began to rant, turning on her heel and walking back in the direction the village was for the job. Gray and Natsu had followed suit, going back to arguing but this time trailing behind her since her pace had quickened compared to her pace from before. Upon hearing the threats come out of her mouth Freed walked with the girl.

"{Y/n} he only cares and you and didn't trust you with these two." He gestured back to Natsu and Gray. The girl hadn't listened, only crossing her arms over her chest as she walked. This left more room for Freed to speak. "Please don't tell Laxus you found me! He'll be so disappointed, I don't want that. He entrusted me with the simplest task and I blew it!" The green haired man began to beg, stopping her when he grabbed her delicate hand then got to his knees. He had looked like he was going to cry, which made {Y/n} get upset at herself. She had realized it wasn't his fault so she had no reason to be mad at him, only at the man who put Freed up to tailing her.

"Alright, I won't tattle...Now get up and stop crying already.'' She said and yanked her hand away.

"Oh thank you!" He yelled then hugged her.

Once Freed let her go they got back on track, getting to the village only a few minutes later. The village was small, probably held two hundred people at most. Almost all of those people worked at the docks in the fishing industry, where the monster was attacking. The owner of one of the larger fishing boats had met up with them. He was fairly young to control such a profitable business, considering most the fishers were old with graying hair. Unlike them he was tanned with dark hair and dark eyes, he was quite handsome. He was also the one that put up the request, the monster had been causing his business a lot of stress and he wanted it gone.
