I was sitting on a bench just outside of school. The sky was dark and gloomy little fat drops of freezing rain feel on the ground making it hazardous to even take a few steps. Little puffs of water vapor left my nostrils as I waited. I saw Seth and his buddies now heading off toward the park as usual. Then one of them slipped and I snickered. "What are you laughing at?" I heard a voice beside me. I looked up to see Hannah and I smiled faintly.
"One of Seth's buddies slipped on the freezing rain puddle." I said my voice distant my eyes looking past the boys and everything beyond.

"Hello? Earth to Julia?" Hannah said clapping her hands in front of my face.
"Huh? Oh sorry"
"You okay Juju?"
"I'm fine... wait... What did you just call me?" I asked standing up. Slinging my back pack over my right shoulder picking up my drawstring bag with my clothes. Now walking beside Hannah stepping carefully.
"Is that okay? I think that would be a good nickname for you."
"Um okay."
"You don't like it..."
"No I do. No one has every really given me a nickname before."
"Oh I'm sorry."
"It's nothing to be sorry about. I've just never really been social until I meet you, Sammy, and Eryn."
"Oh I di-... ahhh!" she began to say but fell my hand caught her arm but my feet weren't stable and I fell with her. We both landed with a thud. It was kind of like the first day we meet but I was on top. The ice under us cracked letting our clothes get soaked in freezing water. I got up as fast as I could and helped her up. "Are you okay?" She nodded her face red, "Are you sure?"
"Yea.." She looked down at my book bag and clothes bag in the ice puddle, 'Oh shit... I'm sorry."
"Hey it's okay Hannah." I said pulling them up putting them both over my back. Securing them feeling the cold water seep into my clothes.

The rest of the walk to Hannah's we were more careful with our footing and by the time we got to her house my arm was wrapped securely around her waist. Hannah being the little klutz she can be slipped a few more times but this time when I would catch her I didn't slip. She unlocked the door and we walked in. The warmth of her house felt good on my skin.

We were laying on her bed watching 'The Ring' Well I was she was hiding her face in my chest looking up only to hide her face again. I don't think I've actually ever enjoyed someone being close to me like she is. All I knew was that I felt comfortable and I loved it. Whisper was quiet and all I could think was about the chestnut haired and forest emerald eyed girl cowering in my arms.

The movie finally ended and she just looked up at me a scared smile on her face. "That was so scary! How the hell did you not piss yourself?!" she asked sitting up a bit. I chuckled slightly then got an idea. Instead of replying I looked past her shoulder and held my breath making my eyes wide like I saw something scary, "W-what is it Julia?" I remained silent as she turned a pale white her eyes getting wide, "J-ju-julia what is it?" Whisper then took control,
"What ever you do... Don't move. It's right by the door." she started shaking and began to look behind her, however just prior to the moment when she would see nothing was there I let out a scream. Hannah also screamed and jumped behind me, as I then laughed so hard I fell off the bed.
"You fucking bitch!" She yelled throwing a pillow at me as I laughed so hard I swear my lungs were about to explode.

Finally my fit of laughter ceased and I got up and sat by a glaring Hannah. "Oh come now baby don't get all sour." My accent slipping as I spoke. Hannah's glare turned to a smile followed by a dark blush. A smirk found my lips as I wrapped my arms about her drawing her to me. "Something is causing you to blush my dear." the huskiness of Whisper's voice (my accent) caused her to blush more and cover her cheeks.
"I'm sorry."
"For what?" my head cocked to the side my smirk more like a sweet grin
"I... I don't know... I just... Julia... Well..." She buried her face in her palms now. I pulled her hands away.
"You what?"
"I like you... A lot." This was all Whisper and I needed. Leaning in slowly oh so terribly slowly to her soft rosy pink lips. Hannah was tense but ready in my arms as she meet my nearing lips with hers.

After the kiss we were quiet but we just stayed together and cuddled for the rest of the night. Somewhere around 1 or 2, I lost track for the first time I can remember, she feel asleep. I followed shortly after. Only to fall into a dark dream that I could have lived without.

I was watching the movie with Hannah but then the lights flickered. Suddenly I was in the woods. Then another bright flash and I was in the cabin. In place of battery lamps giving me light there were black candles burning low all around the room. In the center of the room there was no table or knives. No. In the center of the room a thick, fresh trail of blood making a pentagram with a trap door in the center with a separate trail leading into it. The door flew open suddenly and a monstrous roar came from within. Followed by a shrill scream. Hannah's scream.

I stepped down the stairs that lead into the darkness inside the trap door. Once I was off the stairs and on a dirt floor the trap door slammed shut. I did not flinch I only looked around trying to find a source of light. The walls were close and a wet scent of death filled my noise. As if I was in the Roman catacombs of Europe.

Walking silently ahead careful with each step into the darkness that never seemed to end suddenly a light above my head flickered to life. The source was another black candle in a shelf cut into the stone. The darkness was soon slightly illuminated by the black candle and many others that lead down the grey lit tunnel.

After what seemed like forever I finally found the end of the tunnel. It opened into a small room with a single brass basin in the center. A brass door was behind the basin. In the basin burned a dying fire now all nearly embers save a few flickering flames. The smell was not the same as burned wood. But I knew this smell. It was the smell of burned bone. Wood did not fuel the fire that was dying in the basin. It was bone of the victims that had been slain from behind the ominously lit the brass door. A dark depiction of a dragon like bull with a septum and ruby set eyes were venerated from the main brass sheet.

From behind the door came a monstrous roar followed again by the shrill scream of Hannah. I ran and pushed and pulled on the door to no avail but suddenly the door flung open sending me flying back against the wall. My vision became blurry but I was sure of what I saw... Hannah was chained to the center of a brass pentagram and a great beast was staring her down. A dark hooded figure stood there all I could see of them was their mouth which was twisted up in a malevolent grin. On the wall placed on a cross to look like a crucifix was Drake. His mutilated body hung there idly. All his intestines hung out of the open cavity and bound him to the cross. His amputated parts sewn back on. Beside him was a lonely cross that had a plaque above which read; Seth Woods.

I tore my eyes away from the sigh before me as tears filled my eyes. The hooded figure suddenly threw back their hood and I gasped. It was me. It was Whisper. She snapped her fingers and the beast lunged. Just before the demonic beast tore into Hannah's flesh everything went black and a fog settled all about me. Then he was there. Death was before me his hallow eyes staring into me. His mouth opened and a onyx serpent emerged then a voice filled me ears. "Go now and do as I command." The serpent lunged and swallowed me.

All was black...
All was silent...
