Hope,
A flicker of light in a void
The warm breeze at the break of dawn
An ember of sparks at a dying fire
Whisper of notes of a song in the silenceHope,
A sparkling star on an empty night
A rising sun over a valley of darkness
A veil consuming all negativity and doubts
The light of day breaking it's way through the stormy cloudsHope,
Something implanted into each and everyone of us,
Kept hidden deep within our chaotic-filled mind
An application ready to use
But dust bites its silver lining......for some at least
Hope,
Something of an overdose for me
An infinite drug that always tries to satisfy
I have become somewhat immune to it
Too many pills for a hint of something great has seem to falterHope,
A friendly smile in the darkest of days
A hint of concern under the macabre light
A pat on the back when wandering back to the shadows
A gleam of care in the eyes of anotherThat's the type of hope I would want = )
