---A pale little girl with snow white hair tied into low pigtails walked down the wooden stairs with her black doll shoes making a tapping noise on the wood each time she took a step down, her silver eyes showed frustration with her mouth formed into a pout. She then ran to the living room only to find her older brother sleeping soundly on the couch, still wearing his school uniform.
Enid suddenly tugged on to his arm and pulled him down the couch with lots of force, and once Donovan's head hit the blue, carpeted floor he immediately woke up and groaned painfully. "Ow . . . ."
Enid sat down next to her brother and was still pouting at him, glaring him with her silver eyes. "Big bro, I'm hungry!" she complained. Donovan then stood up and rubbed the painful side of his head he sighed. "Sorry about that, Enid," He chuckled. "I'll cook dinner now since I'm fully awake."
"Yay!" Enid squealed happily as she skipped with joy to the kitchen and immediately sat down on the chair, and as she waited for dinner to be cooked and get ready she played with her toys— a small snorlax figurine and a small riolu figurine to keep her busy.
Donovan only chuckled at this and walked to the kitchen to make dinner for both of them. He grabbed his mother's old, pink apron that had a big 'I ♡ COOKING' written on it and grabbed the ingredients for the food from the fridge. He has been cooking ever since his mother thought him to before she passed away, and despite studying to be a business man he has a strong love and passion for cooking.
As Enid was busy playing with her toys the aroma of the cooked food wafted throughout the kitchen which made her hunger worse and her stomach to growl, embarrassed by this, she tugged on to her stomach and pouted lightly. She knew better than to hurry up her brother's cooking and she already know what will happen if she does so, it'll turn out terrible if someone rushes Donovan to make something other than cooking a dish.
After a few minutes of waiting, Donovan finished the food and served it in a big white bowl. Enid perked up and noticed it was her favorite food and smiled widely, which earned a chuckle from Donovan. "Careful, it's still hot." He said.
Enid nodded and ate it as soon it was cooled down a bit.
"Say, I just remembered something." Donovan started as he placed his spoonfull of the food inside his mouth and chewed it. Enid rose an eyebrow and looked at his calm grey eyes with her curious silver ones, "What is it?" she asked, hoping to get a straight answer.
"You wanted me to get you your first Pokémon, right? Well what do you say we get you one after we finish eating dinner." Donovan smiled at her. Enid was surprised at this and was also clearly very excited to her brother's idea— she nodded immediately. "Yes!" She shouted as she stood up from her seat but then realized something. "Er, shouldn't I be a bit older to get a Pokémon?" She sat back down and tilted her head, ignoring her food.
Donovan shakes his head. "No, well . . . unless you want to be a bit older to get your very first Pokémon I'm alright with that idea." He gave her a smirk and held his laughter in when he saw her face that was full of betrayal.
Enid shakes her head quickly, "No no no! Please! I think I'm responsible enough to have my very own Pokémon! Besides, I'm a big girl now, Don!" she pleaded.
