"Bloody Mary, on the double!" Rang Tifa's voice from the front of the bar.
"Out in a minute!" Responded the voice of Raven. Probably within 30 seconds flat, a crimson shaded glass slid down to the awaiting customer. Minutes following, he left.
"Whew, another kill-me-get-it-over-with day finished!" Tifa pumped a fist in the air.
Raven sighed, "I guess."
Tifa paused in place, "What's wrong, girl? The day poop you out that much?"
"Uh..." She thought this might work. "Yeah."
Tifa gave her that 'you're lying' look, "Dilly-dally, shilly-shally. Tell truth for once."
Raven stuttered, "I.... Umm.." As if an angel just descended from heaven above, the door swung open, with a rather spikey-haired Cloud standing in the doorway. "Hi Cloudie!" There she was saved... Kind of.
Cloud looked down at his little sister in confusion, "Raven, you're never like this unless you want something.... Or something's wrong."
Raven yelped while playing an obviously fake smile, "Nope!"
Cloud took a small breath, "I'll ask you what it is, later. Just let me cool down." And with that being said, Cloud soaked his face in hot water and proceeded up the stairs.
"Well, looks like I can go!" Raven said, jumping up.
"I don't think so," Tifa remarked grabbing Raven's sleeve. "Sorry."
As the two sat in silence waiting for Cloud, it was... Quite frankly, awkward. Each moment elapsing over another in an uneven count of.... well, time.
Finally, after what seemed of hours, Cloud strolled down the stairs, "So Raven, what's been eating you?"
Raven rolled her eyes sarcastically, "Why, are the bite marks showing through? Sorry, you guys can't see THOSE bite marks."
Tifa and Cloud breathed softly in harmony, "Raven...."
Cloud continued on, "Really. What is it?"
Raven began awkwardly, "Well..... Do you guys remember that 'Vampire Guy' who came in last week?"
Cloud raised an eyebrow, "Vincent?"
"Yeah, him! Well, that was just the first time I'd seen him in a while and I.... Um... He's rather attractive so.." Raven trailed off.
Cloud asked, "So you like Vincent?"
Raven blushed and bowed a small nod.
Cloud had just barely a straight smile, "Well, looks like Vincent'll be coming by more often."
"W-wait! You're actually-!" Raven stuttered.
Cloud cut her off, "Or, since you might need 'practice' with your weapons. Vincent IS a good mentor."
"Thank you, Cloud!" Raven hugged her brother.
Tifa sat in the corner with an unsettling smile.

Weeks later began a training session, which did confuse Vincent a little, considering Raven had always used a black wooden bow and a metallic sword... While Vincent had used his same-old, same-old Hydra gun. (That's just what he's using for now)
After their session had ended Raven strolled up to him, "So... um, thank you." She smiled.
Vincent had returned it with a rather small grin, "Anytime. If you ever need more training, just call." Oh god, his voice was hypnotizing, and she could easily tell that, even during training.
She replied, tantalized, "So, would you mind helping me out again soon?"
Vincent sighed with that barely even appearing grin still placed on, "Something tells me this isn't just for training. Listen, if you'd like to do something together, that'd be fine." With that, a number was placed in her palm.
~~~~
As she had sprinted home tried to get ahold of a phone... Of course no phones were open. Cloud had been on the his cell phone with Cid, while Tifa was using the bar/house phone to talk to Rude, who had been suspiciously calling a lot lately.
Yuffie pranced in suddenly, "One Sex On The Beach, hold the drink." Of course that was normal, so nobody acknowledged the perverted joke.
Raven glanced over, "Yuffie, let me borrow your phone, PLEASE!"
"Hmmm." Yuffie stood with one leg crossed over the other and one arm raised to her face to tap her head, the other arm supporting it. "I guess," she finished.
Raven ran outside with the phone to punch in the number.
Riiiiing
Riiiiing
Riiiiing
An answer, "Stop calling this phone! You have no right to call it so leave me alone!" An unpleasant answer at that, and then a CLICK. What?.... That was certainly Vincent's voice but... Raven slouched into the house and dropped Yuffie's phone on the table. Following, she ran to her bedroom. What was wrong? Was he mad at her? Did she call too early? Did he actually hate her? She had decided to leave him alone for a while.
Days following, a man with messy charcoal hair and crimson dripping eyes strolled into the bar, but not reaching Raven's recognition at the moment.
"What'll it be?" She called from the back.
"Actually, I just wanted to talk." His dark voice rang through the whole bar. The voice that shot little icicles down her very spine.
"Listen, Raven," He continued, "I didn't realize that was you who had called the other day. I just looked at my phone and saw that it was Yuffie's caller ID, and honestly, I think she calls a lot to get on my nerves. Well, it works... I'm.... Sorry."
Raven glanced over into his blood shaded lusting eyes, "Oh, I didn't realize you didn't like her. I just wanted to get ahold of a phone."
Vincent remained staring into her magnificent sea blue orbs, even as more awkward moments had passed. "Do you maybe want to... Sit down and get a drink with me?" The mysterious nobody-will-understand Vincent voice called again.
"S-Sure," Raven shuddered.
After about a half hour of sitting and talking about weapons, fighting, Yuffie, and anything else that popped up, Vincent arose from his seat and excused himself for a few minutes. After he left for the moment, Raven sat up and slowly strolled through the bar, noticing something new every time she would scan across the walls. After figuring out what it was, she proceeded on to another item that hung on the wooden wall. Suddenly, it felt as if there was a new presence in the room. Raven piveted on her heel and spun to the other direction; nothing. As she sighed and spun again she was met with the face of Vincent, not even an inch away.
"I.... uh... I didn't know you were...." Raven began.
"No, no. It's fine." He replied, his eyes scanning hers. "Do you want something, Raven." The sound of his voice saying hers was almost about to make her tremble, as if Vincent hadn't already done that.
"I... uh.." She felt as if she was mute.
Vincent regained that very small smile and closed the inch between them, his lips lightly falling on hers. He began moving them in an upward to downward motion that she had completely comprehended and harmonized with.
"What the hell is going on here!?" Cried Tifa's voice.
Vincent just gave her a very small smirk and replied, "Just getting to know each other better."
