it had been 2 weeks since me and bailey talked. It had been 2 weeks dating keith without even wanting to. it had been 2 awkward weeks sitting behind Anthony in class and people giving me nasty looks of jealousy for dating keith.
I couldn't hate my life any more than I do now .
i didnt want to date keith anymore. but he probably wouldnt let me breakup with him..
so today was just another GLORIOUS daaay at school. i had not been paying attention at class and just while i was in lala land Anthony taps my shoulder.
"hey" he whispered. "stay at your locker during lunch" he said seriously
i nodded in responce
class ended and everyone went to lunch. i, of course, stayed at my locker waiting for anthony he didnt show up long after.
"hey what did you want to talk to me about?" i asked him
"uuhh... well idk if youve heard?" he said
"uuhh... nooo? About what? what happened?" i asked "should i be concerned?"
"sure." he stated. "june, bailey and lara got in a fight this weekend.. and now roxanne is out to get bailey again. she didnt come to school today because she was scared i guess."
"what?!" i said surprised "i need to go see her! shes not okay?! we talked two weeks ago and she hasnt talked to me since! i need to go, now." i started walking away
"wait! wait! your ditching? right noww??" he asked confused
"yes." i replied "she needs me wether she knows it or not, and i need to know why they got into a fight."
"im coming with you." anthony demanded.
"but-" i started "its not a question june. Im going." anthony interupted
"okay. lets go"
we head out the doors and got into my car, we drove to baileys house and knocked on the door... no answer. we rang the door bell.. no answer. We knocked harder. *steps*
"shes coming." i said
*door unlocking and opening*
"what are you doing here?" bailey asked
"i heard.. well, anthony told me you were in a fight with lara?"
"yeah my mistake. you guys have to leave now." she said annoyed
"dude talk to us! we care thats why we are here" anthony responded
"ugh.." bailey thought for a second "well.. then get in. i guess you should know what happened."
we walked into the kitchen and sat at her kitchen island with surrounding high chairs. i took a seat and anthony sat next to me, bailey in front of us both.
"keith cheated on you june. with lara. i saw her downtown and she started talking to me and turns out they all went out on saterday, keith and Lara started making out at roxannes house. so they were just there and.. stuff happened." explained bailey "lara told me that keith said he didnt care about you and that he just liked to have fun, he said that you had a rockin body and he just wanted to have sex with you because your hot."
"oh my god." i stood up covering my mouth in shock. anthony turned to me and stood beside me with a hand on my shoulder.
bailey went on "so i got mad at her and punched her and we got into a fist fight i called her names and she got angrier she thought me and you werent friends anymore, june, and thats why she told me. but i honestly cant not be your friend june. your my only friend."
"well why didnt you come to school? is roxanne gonna go after you?" anthony asked
"yes. because lara told her that i punched her." bailey said seriously
"i cant beleive this!" i said angrily "he forces me to date him and then he cheats on me like he doesnt care?! ive been getting so much crap from other girls because im dating him! and he just doesnt care? what the hell!!" i let out
"we'll get him back." anthony assured.
"how?" i asked
"ill take care of it." he winked
me and bailey smiled
~next day~
saterday. today Bailey, Anthony and i had planned to hang out at Anthony's house since no one would be home. but before we were headed to Suspenders for lunch.
we were there for a few minutes looking over the menu and having small talk.
*restaurant bell* we all looked to see who walked in just because. and we see keith roxanne and lara walk in.
OMG, why are they here? why is keith with lara again?? is he seriously cheating on me often? what the heck!!
keith sees me and his eyes widen, he talks a gulp of his own disgusting spit. and shoos away roxanne and lara for a second. he runs up to me with his arms open
"babyy! what are you doing here" he says while trying to hug me. i shove him away. "get away from me and dont touch me" i say quickly
"babe, whats wrong?" he asks acting innocent
"oh stop it, Keith!" i yell "babe..." he responds, he grabs me and locks me in an awkward hug. "stop!! let me go" i yell trying to break free
"thats enough." anthony says finally standing up "let her go."
We both turned towards Anthony
"excuse me but whose her boyfriend? me. so get out of it." keith said with attitude
Anthony replied with confidence "shes not your girlfriend anymore keith. we all know what youre doing dont act stupid. Now do as I say."
"what?" keith asked letting his grip lose, i took advantage and broke free and ran out the door
"June!!" keith yelled, and ran after me
he caught up to me and grabbed my arm, preventing me from getting away, i tugged and pulled from his grip i pushed his chest but he was too stong and he couldn't budge.
"june" he said sadly and softly "whats wrong baby, talk to me"
"no! I don't want to talk you" i let out
he pinned me to the wall his hand on my shoulder and the other caressing my cheek "dont try to leave. you and i know you cant."
he leaned in to try and kiss me but i slapped him and tried to squirm out but he grabbed my arm and put it on the wall above my head. i stayed still but stiff. i closed my eyes. hoping he wouldnt do anything to me but
just then i heard running foot steps and then a quick groan coming from Keith. i felt his grip losen and i opened my eyes. Anthony had punched him and now his nose was bleeding.
Anthony extended his arm to me insinuating that i take his hand and I did. He drew me close into a tight embrace. "You're ok, I won't let him hurt you."
roxanne lara and bailey ran out after us then stopped when they realized that bailey was with them, they turned to her and punch her square in the face. she fell to the floor. i screamed and stopped running. roxanne said "take that b/tch!" and spit to the floor by bailey. i started to tear up with anger and ran to them, anthony followed.
i fell to the floor where bailey was and i cried for two seconds i touched her face and let out a faint gasp . i got up like and i punched Roxanne in the mouth and she fell to the floor. anthony helped bailey up and we were off
we left bailey at her house. and he he offered to walk me home. Our walk was rather quiet I guess because of the thrill we went through that day. When we reached my house i hugged him goodbye and thanked him. "Thank you for everything. I'm sorry things got a little out of hand and it was probably my fault."
"How could it possibly be your fault June? We had no idea Keith and the others would show up. It was just a horrible coincidence, don't feel bad."
"Ok." I responded.
I hugged him and just as our hug ended he let out a small sigh and looked me in the eye.
He turned away and left.
