CHAPTER 19

No one's POV

It was a long day and the sun was about to set but Mina was still walking towards the library since she needs to study for her quiz tomorrow. As she entered the library, she greeted Mrs. Bae, the librarian.

"Good afternoon Mrs. Bae!" Mina greeted politely. The librarian smiled, "Good afternoon Ms. Myoui. What brings you here? It's getting dark already"

"Well, I have to study for my quiz tomorrow Mrs. Bae. I have to borrow one of your limited books as well" Mina said and asked for permit which the old lady kindly gave her.

Mina started to look for the book she was looking for. After a few moments of searching, she finally found it and sat on one of the tables.

Mina was about to text Sana that she's going home late but her phone died. Mina sighed and started to review for her quiz.

Little did she know that someone followed her inside the library.

Chaeyoung was at the usual cafe sitting alone while waiting for Mina. It bothered her since it's getting dark already and she doesn't know where Mina is. She wasn't able to keep track on her since her schedule is messed up right now. She keeps on texting her friends but they didn't know either. She taps her foot impatiently as she was waiting for the replies from the other texts she sent her friends.

One by one, the messages was sent to her as her phone vibrated continously.

From: Jihyo unnie

Chaeyoung-ah! I haven't seen Mina though. I tried checking the garden where she was recently but she's not there. Maybe she went home already. Anyway, please take care Chaeyoung.

From: Jeongyeon unnie

Yooo~ haven't seen mina tho. Have you called her already? Maybe she's with her friends or what. Go home once u find her.

From: Dahyun

Hey. I've seen Mina unnie earlier at the cafeteria but I haven't this afternoon. Waeyo? Take care when u go home tho.

From: Tzuyu

Yaaa! I haven't seen Mina unnie around TT :(( I thought she was with Sana though but she wasn't. Too bad. Find her b4 u go home. Take care!!

Chaeyoung couldn't feel more frustrated. She rubs her forehead as she thinks of the places where Mina might have been. What if something bad happened to her? What if she's alone and crying? What if she got stuck somewhere and couldn't get out? Chaeyoung couldn't stand waiting for her so she looked for her – herself.

Sana was home already together with Momo and Nayeon. Mina told them before to go ahead but she didn't mention why or where she might have been. Sana called Mina over a hundred times already but her phone is out of service. Chaeyoung kept on texting her for updates but she couldn't give anything since she herself didn't know. She wanted to cry for being such a bad friend. How could she not ask Mina where she was going? They were just together hours ago and now she's nowhere to be found. Great.

Nayeon was contacting everyone she's seen with Mina earlier. She asked each one of them if they've seen Mina around this hour but all of them said no. Nayeon was pretty much devastated that she felt like crying too. She didn't want to imagine where Mina might have been right now. She keeps on reminding herself that maybe Mina was just at someone else's house and forgot to call.

But Mina is definitely not that type of person. She would call anytime even if she has to borrow someone else's phone.

Momo too was in turmoil as she tried to think of the places where Mina might have been. There are a lot if you would ask but she tried to be more rational. Until her mind flashed an idea.
