No one's POV

"HELP!! SOMEONE STOLE THE GOLD BARS FROM THE CHIEF!!!" A deafening scream made all the people in the village to panic. Some of them stayed at their houses while some of them went to the place where the crime was committed. Jan Dae, who was patrolling at that time, went to his father's room only to found out that someone stole their gold bars.

"Father! Are you hurt?" Jan Dae asked his father who just woke up that time.

"No. I'm fine. I just...I wonder who stole those gold bars from me. I thought I can trust people here." her father answered. Truth be told, it has been 20 years since a crime like that has been committed. So this issue is really a big deal, especially the fact that one family wants to have an affiliation with them.

"Jan Dae, I need you to catch the thief in 2 days. Am I clear?" her father demanded. Jan Dae hesitated but decided to go for it.

As Jan Dae left her father's room, she began to think of ways to catch the culprit. She checked the place where the gold bars were stolen, looking for an evidence. She checked every corner but saw nothing. She was about to give up until she saw a distorted arrow lying on the edge of the room. Jan Dae quickly recognized it as the army's official arrow that comes with their bow. She felt disappointed knowing that there is a possibility that one of her soldiers is the culprit.

Jan Dae went back to where she was patrolling while holding the distorted arrow. A lot of thoughts filled her mind.

'It's impossible that one of my soldiers is the thief.' Jan Dae thought. She knows deep inside her that she trained her soldiers well and none of them would dare do this to them.

'Maybe the culprit just used this arrow to frame someone and get out of this situation.' she thought once again. The culprit never left her mind until she noticed that her patrol has come to an end. She then went to her room and slept.

Next day

As usual, Jan Dae woke up early for their morning routine. More of like their first training session. As she went outside to their training ground, all of her soldiers were there already. Except for one.

"Where's Beom Seok?" she asked. Her soldiers shrugged and told her that they didn't know. Jan Dae started to feel more disappointed because that soldier should have went to their training earlier especially that he's new.

She decided to start their routine without him. While doing their routine, she began shouting about the issue last night. How disappointed she was, how mad she was and how she found out about how the culprit can possibly be one of their soldiers. They were all shocked of the news but still maintained their position. Minutes have passed and then Beom Seok came. Jan Dae approached him.

"Why were you late? You of all people should be here early." Jan Dae said completely expressing his disappointment. Beom Seok looked at her, sweat started forming on his forehead.

"I-I...w-woke up l-late." he stuttered. His reason doesn't seem to be valid but Jan Dae ignored him and continued their training.

As their first training session was done, it was followed by the second round which consists of trying their sword and archery skills.

'This will be a good opportunity for me to see who lost one of his arrows.' Jan Dae thought. The soldiers lined up, all of them facing an archery board. Jan Dae looked at her soldiers carefully until she noticed that Beom Seok was sneakily leaving.

"Where are you going?" Jan Dae approached him. Beom Seok stopped on his tracks and faced Jan Dae.

"I-I left m-my arrows inside." Jan Dae started doubting the trainee's words. 'This doesn't seem right.' she thought.
