Chapter 8: Brother to Brother

--Wakanda--

Namor helped Thor stand up as they looked at the battle before them. Thor took a hit when a Outrider punched him with all its arms. Namor took it out and helped him up.

"I know where their weak side is," Thor grunted as he stood up, "Their middle is weak and if we can go inside out, then we'll have a big advantage."

"That's your plan then. I'll command my army to attack the left and right sides while you charge through the middle right?"

"That's pretty much the plan I've got. Let's get to it then." Thor called back Mjolnr and he led his army through the middle.

He destroyed all of the Outriders who were trying to tackle him. They either got killed by Mjolnr or the Asgardian soldiers. In the middle of the battle, T'Challa joined in as well as Okoye and M'Baku as they pushed the Outriders back.

"This plan of yours..." T'Challa kicked a Outrider away, "Do you think it will work?"

"Of course it will." Thor struck lightning and making an open path through the middle, "Namor is attack the sides of the Outrider army. We can dispatch them in minutes."

Thor and T'Challa separated to finish the job quicker. While Thor was pounding the Outriders on front of him, someone grabbed him from behind.

"Good to see you, brother!" Loki surprised Thor and stabbed him in the chest.

Thor shouted in pain and kneeled as Mjolnr fell to the ground as well. Multiple Outriders started fighting the Asgardians and pushing them back to Namor's army. Steve, Logan and Bucky were nowhere to be seen. It was just Loki and Thor face to face.

"How does it feel to taste this amount of pain?" Loki chuckled as he placed his knife near to Thor's chin. "Would you like to look like father?"

Loki slowly rubbed the knife on Thor's chin like he was shaving his beard. After a while, Thor thought he was fine until Loki suddenly made a move on him. He sliced his right eye as Thor held it immediately afterwards.

"Now you really look like father, brother." Loki pointed the knife and looked at him as if he was the God. He then placed the knife on his throat. "It will all be over soon, just close your eye."

Before Loki could stab Thor, he knocked Loki away with Mjolnr. Loki went flying as Thor breathed heavily. He thought he was gone until he grabbed him again in the neck.

"Don't you know brother..." Loki struggled to contain Thor, "I'm the God of Mischief?"

He held up his knife and tried to stab him in the neck. Thor countered it but Loki ended up stabbing him in the chest. Thor tried to gasp for air as his right chest was bleeding. He fell to his knees and tried to breath a little.

"You were really useless ever since father died." Loki said as T'Challa tackled him from the side.

T'Challa drew his claws out and tried to kill Loki but he teleported behind him. Loki then stabbed his armor but his knife broke easily against the Vibranium. T'Challa chuckled as he sliced another hologram of Loki and he appeared behind him, placing a bomb on his back.

T'Challa exploded and he flew across the battlefield. Loki chuckled as he won another battle against a superhero. He could see Thor, lying on the floor, helpless. Suddenly Steve appeared on front of him with Logan.

"So you two, your friends now?" Loki joked as he drew knives out from both his hands.

"Not so much, bub." Logan took a glance at Steve and attacked Loki. He used his claws to wear him down as Loki blocked almost all of the attacks that he was doing to Loki.

Loki caught him by surprise and drove two knives to his chest. Logan fell to the floor as he tried to regenerate and in comes Steve, quickly using his shield to get the advantage. He tried his best to counter all of the attacks but Loki was too quick in his moves. When Steve missed a punch, Loki kneeled and stabbed him in the leg. Loki stood up and stabbed Steve in the chest but Logan blocked it with his claws. He then continued his fight with Logan.

"You just don't know when to give up, don't you?" Loki muttered, as he kept on fighting Logan.

"I've never given up since the 19th century." Logan smirked as he stabbed Loki in the eyes.

Loki then appeared from behind and sticked a knife in Logan's neck as he walked over him. He smiled at Logan who was trying to remove the knife from his neck. He then slowly walked towards his brother.

--New York--

Peter blocked an attack from an Outrider and Johnny forced it. Some Avengers and Fantastic Four members were trying to regain the street as Sam and Carol took the skies. Sam landed on the battlefield, dressed like Captain America with wings. Once they took over Harlem, they all regrouped.

"Is the area cleared now?" Scott asked, as he looked around at the destruction.

"My sources say yes because I don't sense anything nearby." Peter said, as everyone listened to him, "But I do sense a-"

An arrow landed in the middle of everyone and it exploded into their faces. Ben was still standing but the rest of the Avengers and Johnny fell to the floor. Peter and Strange tried to scan the area and they found a black figure on one of the buildings. They couldn't chase it now since it started running away.

"Carol and I will chase it, don't worry." Sam took of as Carol followed him and they both went into a search.

Everyone who were still standing like Peter, Strange, Scott, Hope, Ben and Johnny, we're all confused to what just happened.

"Wait, so a arrow landed in the middle of all of us and it exploded. Who the hell could have done that. All of our corners were covered." Johnny asked as everyone tried to recover.

"You know, there was only one marksman who could have done that, and his name was Clint." Scott said
