--Sakaar--
Thor, Steve and Reed were walking through the streets of the planet as they looked for Loki. They had someone tell them where he was. He escaped from Knowhere and went into hiding for a few days there.
"So he escaped from Thanos?" Thor asked as someone bumped into him while they were walking, "Damn citizens."
"Obviously he sacrificed some Outriders while escaping." Steve said, as they reached a local hotel. "So he's hiding here?"
"Yes, so let's get him while we still have the chance." Thor said as they entered the hotel.
They passed by through the lobby and went to find Loki. Thor knew where he was because of the Mind Stone. He could sense where it was. It was on the 7th floor and Loki was there as well. They quickly went to his room which was at the end of the hallway. They went up to the door and knocked.
"Room service." Reed said, as the locks opened.
"Come in. Your welcome." Loki said
When they entered the room, Loki had ice on his face. He was not surprised that they showed up on his door. Thor then grabbed him by the neck but his hands went through his body.
"It's a hologram!" Thor shouted as Loki appeared behind him and grabbed him by the neck. He walked back and placed a knife on his neck.
"Stand back! Or I'll slice his throat open." Loki demanded them to walk away, "I'm serious."
"Give us the Mind Stone and then we'll not hurt you. Otherwise, every bone in your body will be broken." Steve said
"Do you not get it?! I'm trying to save you. If you give Thanos the Mind Stone, he'll start playing God."
"And all the other people you killed? Have you ever think that you are the one playing God."
"Never." Loki said, as Thor fell of the floor when he became a hologram.
Thor looked around and smashed his hand on the floor. They lost Loki again and he was likely going to the Creator. Steve helped Thor up as some Outriders entered the room.
"Help him. I'll lead the way." Reed said as he used his abilities to confuse the enemies.
There were about seventeen Outriders running down the hallway to fight them. Steve got his shield out and blocked the first ones to attack. One Outriders grabbed him by the arm and he threw the Outrider through the wall. He used his shield as his advantage as Thor and Reed plowed through the ones who were still alive.
Once they were outside, they saw a man running away from them. They knew it was Loki so they went on a high speed chase. Steve jumped up the scaffolding and tried to follow him by the rooftops. Thor ran through alleyways and short-cuts to see if he could surprise him while Reed was just running after Loki from wherever he went.
Bins were being thrown on the ground which was giving the Avengers a bad rep for leaving a nasty trail. Steve jumped from building to building so he could catch up with Loki but he could barely see him. Thor on the other hand was being guided by Steve and found the right alleyways to go through. Reed was able to catch up by using his length to walk across the objects being thrown by Loki.
When Steve knew he could catch Loki by jumping on him, he waited for the right moment. He jumped and tackled Loki to the ground. This time it wasn't a hologram and he was real.
"I got him!" Steve shouted, as he held Loki as tightly as possible.
Loki grabbed a knife from his wrist and stabbed Steve in the chest. It was a deep cut and Steve was left there holding his chest. Loki started to run away but Thor and Reed had him trapped.
"I'm saving you all, don't you understand?!" Loki shouted, which got the attention of everyone.
"Move back everyone, we have a criminal who is talking." Reed said, as the area was cleared from civilians. It was only Loki, Thor, Reed and Steve, "Hand over the Mind Stone and we'll all be on jolly way."
"Your a scientist, right? You don't receive everything because your smart, you earn it and the Mind Stone, I earned it. For all the years I have saved my brother." Loki explained while Thor looked at him, "I am not joking, I saved your ass multiple times. I'm trying to protect the Galaxy here."
"Reed, you're going to believe him?" Thor chuckled
"Not a single word," Reed said as they closed in on Loki.
Suddenly a portal opened and Thanos, Carol and Strange appeared. Thanos looked disappointed when they got here and Loki was smiling.
"This is a clone," Thanos sighed as he waved his hand back and forth through the body, "And I thought you had the Mind Stone."
"Damn it," Thor said as he walked over to Steve. He held the wound with his hands and looked at Thanos, "Time Stone."
Thanos scoffed and the Time Stone lit up. He started to turn his hand backwards and the wound disappeared.
"Why can't you do that with holograms and dead people?" Reed asked
"Holograms are nothing, it's there to confuse you and the dead people, you can't because the stone is not able to do that." Thanos explained
"What is the Soul Stone for then?" Steve asked as he sat down and took a breather.
"Too many questions," Thanos sighed and sat down on a strong table which was able to hold him up, "It's here so it could detect whether the object is living or dead which is useful in most cases."
"Wh-Where is Gamora?" Thor asked, worried.
"That's how we got the Soul Stone. We had to kill her," Strange said, and the three of them looked at him with strange faces, "We'll bring her back to life once we kill the Creator. By the way, don't tell Quill."
"You shouldn't even see Quill." Steve said
"Well, we best be going. We have to go out and test these stones again." Thanos said as he made a portal.
"Wait, what are we supposed to do? The Creator is near Earth now." Steve asked
"You make a plan and call us. Thor will know how to reach us." Thanos smiled as the three of them entered the portal.
"So much for going to Sakaar to find Loki, huh?" Reed smiled and all three of them chuckled. "Let's go back and make the goddamn plan."
