It's been three weeks since beca and Chloe kissed during truth or dare. The kiss was never spoken about since, and things had been quite uncomfortable at times around the two. They don't hang out as much alone anymore, and the rest of the girls noticed it too. They're beca and Chloe but lately they haven't been acting like it.

Chloe can't face being alone with beca. Every time she glances at her the kiss replays over and over in her head, and her legs feel like they're going to buckle underneath her. She's never wanted someone she couldn't have as much as this. It terrified her.

Beca was scared too. She didn't know what to do. She barely talks to Chloe unless they're all in the same room, she can't close her eyes without seeing and feeling the kiss, she can't even go an hour without a Chloe thought consuming her head.

It was hard for them. It was really hard. And worst of all, each day they both were falling in deeper. Chloe didn't know why beca was shutting her out, and beca didn't know why Chloe was shutting her out. They were both miserable.

It was Saturday night. Bellas night out they like to say. Neither beca or Chloe were in the right mood to go out, but of course Amy forced them both.
Chloe looked at herself deeply in the mirror as she applied her mascara. Man up Chloe. Stop being so miserable, she clearly doesn't feel anything for you or even wants to talk to you right now. Go have fun. And that's exactly what Chloe decided she was going to do. She made herself feel sexy and decided she was going to drink and let loose. She deserved it.

Beca in the next room sulked as she threw on her boots. She wasn't in the mood for all the girls right now and especially Chloe. She doesn't know why Chloe showed so much interest in her and then just stopped. She doesn't even make effort to talk to me. Why?

"Becs, Chloe, Aubrey! Come on the cabs are here" Amy shouted up at the three. The girls cut could the tension between beca and Chloe with a knife. This wasn't a time where it called for a cheeky joke from Amy, this time it's different, they've changed, they won't even look at each other in fear that they'd have to talk about what happened. It was hard for the girls to watch, especially knowing how the two were meant for each other, but it was no ones business but theirs, and it's not their place to butt in this time. Even if it means watching their best friends think the other is avoiding them or just not caring. It was tough.

After piling into a cab van, they finally arrived inside a club. The usual one they always go to of course. Beca only now took a look at Chloe and noticed how good she looks. Well looks like I'm the only one miserable. Cool. She watched Chloe laugh and joke with Aubrey and CR, as she just sat at the bar with Amy.

"Talk to me smallie" Amy said.

"Na it's good."

"Beca.."

"Amy.."

"Talk to me Or I'll be forced to curse you and I'm Australian the curses can't be broken."

Beca looked at her highly confusingly. "You're so so weird, you know that right?"

"Yes now proceed."

"It's just the Chloe thing. We haven't talked really in such a long time, and she doesn't even seem to care. She's like being herself I dunno it's weird."

Amy gave beca a sympathy smile. "Beca, it's Chloe she's the best person at pretending like everything is okay, but you know how upset she gets over things. She's just really good at hiding it."
