Chloe didn't know why but she couldn't sleep. She tossed and turned, flipped the pillows, she sat up, she lay down. She could not get to sleep. Her mind was full but she was tired. It's been 3 days since her conversation about beca and for some reason unknown to her- she simply can not get it out of her head.

The way beca so confidently said she's not attracted to him anymore, the way she so surely said she might want to end things. Why does it matter to her, she thought. Why should her best friend breaking up wit her boyfriend effect herself.

But it does. And she knew if the day ever came then it would. Maybe it's because deep down she knows she always will have a little something for the brunette. Even though she knew she would never admit that out loud to anyone. Chloe never thought of ever labelling herself, she simply fell in love or was attracted to people. And yeah even though the majority of her relationships have been with boys, she will always admit she knows how to check a girl out, and she's had her fair go of experimenting while at Barden.
Sure she's checked beca out, a lot more than she probably should have, as the position of you know- beca's best friend. Sure beca is eye catching. She sat up and rubbed her eyes. You can't blame her for finding the brunette attractive, anyone with two eyes would. Maybe that's why she doesn't like Jesse, she thought. What if the whole reason isn't that she doesn't like jesse, but it's she doesn't like Jesse with beca. Okay the thoughts are getting too much for right now.

She got up and headed to the kitchen, a cold glass of water is what she needed. She noticed the light on in kitchen and glanced to her phone. '3:43'
That's weird.

"Woah Chlo you gave me a fright there" beca laughed.

Chloe won't lie the sudden sight of beca sitting on the kitchen counter caught her off guard. "Becs what are you doing look at the time."

Beca looked at her phone, completely unfazed by the time. "I can't sleep I have a lot on my mind, as they would say in the cliche movies" she smirked.

Chloe just shook her head and laughed, that's such a beca thing to do. To admit something but them make humour out of it. Chloe grabbed a bottle of water and propped herself up on the table in-front of her. "So wanna talk about it?"

Beca looked to her hands. And shrugged slightly. "Well you know I don't but I'm going to anyway because you're looking at me with those big puppy eyes"

It's not like beca hasn't said things like this before but the comment made her heart jump. The fact beca just admitted to her that the very sight of her eyes is making her do something.
God Mitchell what are you doing to me!
"Well you know if you don't want to talk about it then you don't have to.. but if you do I'm right here.. it's only me bec"

Beca looked back at her. The sight made her nerves wake up. Chloe Beale sat in-front of her with an oversized woolly, beige one shouldered jumper on, her hair up in a high messy ponytail, and her eyes looking tired but more blue than ever. She sighed out. Chloe Beale was a sight for sore eyes. "It's just the Jesse thing, I've thought about it non stop for at least three days now and I know it's just time for me to move on, I don't feel anything anymore."

Chloe watched as beca fidgeted with her sleeve, and how she looked anywhere but at chloe. "Bec, look at me." Chloe got up off the table and sat up next to beca facing her. She watched as beca listened and turned her face to hers.
"I understand this is difficult and scary, but I can tell you think you're being a dick over it. Beca people change, feelings change, and everyone knows that. There's a reason people go through so many relationships before they find the right one. This was just a step forward for you. You had a great time with him but now it's coming to an end, and it's just means you're evolving, don't ever think your feelings or needs are unnecessary. You said it yourself you don't feel anything with him anymore, so not only is this unfair to you to keep pretending, but it's especially unfair to him."
