Kendal
The question almost makes time stop. I have no clue what to say and he can tell.
"You could finally get out of the apartment." He adds as if that'll fully convince me. I still don't say anything.
He leans in close and he takes my hand into his two large ones. "Listen, I can't take my mind off you. I always want you here and I find myself missing you all the time. If you were to come here we could always be with one another and you'd never have to worry about paying for that run down apartment anymore. Let me take care of you." He finishes with his calloused hand placed on my soft cheek. It's a nice contrast and I find myself getting lost in it.
"What will I do with all of my thing?" I ask referring to all the things that clutter my apartment. "Bring Whatever you think you need." He says as if it's no problem.
We're not even dating yet and he wants me to move in? It just doesn't seem right.
"We're not even together Ethan." I sigh. "But I want to be. I know what I feel for you is something special and I'll never feel this way towards anyone else." He says seriously.
"What will people think?" I ask now bouncing my knee up and down as nerves flow through my body. "Who cares." He says barely above a whisper.
Our faces are close and my mind is racing. I have no clue what to say to this man. I want nothing more than to be with him but a part of me tells me that this is too fast.
He waits for my answer as I let out a low sigh. "When should I bring my things?" I ask, causing him to smile proudly. "We'll worry about that tomorrow. It's kind of late. Why don't we head off to bed?" He says standing from his chair and holding his hand out. I smile as I take his hand.
"I think you'll like it here." He mutters as we head up his large stairs. "You think so?" I ask with a light chuckle. "I know so." He says with complete confidence which causes me to shake my head with a sly smile sat on my face.

The next morning."What's going on?" Racheal ask frantically as she walks in to see a whole bunch of men carrying boxes out of my apartment.
"I'm moving." I say with a bright smile, expecting her to be happy for me. Her eyes widen and she freezes up like a deer in headlights. "Please tell me you're not moving in with him." She sighs.
I can't help but scrunch my face up. "I am actually." I say hesitantly. She grabs my wrist and pulls me out to the hallway far away from all the moving guys.
"He's not a good man kendal." She says sternly. "How would you know?" I ask defensively. She's never met the man. She doesn't know him the way I do.
"His face is plastered all over the tabloids every single day and you think the whole city wouldn't find out about his drug problem?" She ask as she throws her hands up in the air.
"He doesn't do that anymore." I say now raising my voice slightly. "He's not good for you!" She says matching my tone.
"He's different now. You haven't even met him so you have no clue if he's good for me or not." I say flatly. "I know what I'm getting myself into." I add.
"Princess, I think we have everything." I hear his familiar voice shout at me from down the hall. I flash Racheal one last glance before I turn on my heels and make my way towards Ethan. "Thanks baby." I mutter to him. Who is she to judge? She has no clue about what goes on between us.
Ethan locks his hand with mine once I reach him and begins to lead me out of the apartment building for the last time. "Who was that?" He ask.
"My friend Racheal." I mutter as I slowly glance over my shoulder to see that she already disappeared into her apartment.
I let out a low sigh and this causes Ethan's head to snap towards me. "What's wrong?" He ask with concern painted all over his divine features.
"Nothing. I'm just gonna miss this place." I lie. I really don't want to tell him that my best friend hates him. I don't want to start this whole moving in thing with a rocky beginning.
"You'll settle in and you'll forget all about this place." He says now slinging his large arm over my shoulders playfully. I just roll my eyes as we step out into the fresh air.
I take one last look at my apartment building and let out a big breath. Here goes nothing.
I wonder if I'll ever get used to living so lavishly. I wonder what it will be like in the morning when we're supposed to head off to work.
Will he always be stressed at home like he always is in the office? God, I hope this works out.
As we sit in the car as Charles drives us to what is now our home I can't help but let my head fall onto his broad shoulder. He chuckles a little.
"Tired?" He ask playfully. "A little bit." I say with a slight giggle.
"This is gonna be great." He sighs as he lets his head fall back against the seat. "I get to see that beautiful face of yours whenever I want now." He says causing me to laugh.
"Don't get too cocky now." I say raising my eyebrows as I look directly into his eyes. He just laughs slightly right before I lean in and I press a gentle kiss to his soft lips.
I love everything about us right now and I don't need Racheal trying to pull me out of it. I don't want out of it.
