How It All Started

"Well that was something." Mrs Bernard said to Star and Marco as they finished the song.

"Thanks Mrs B." Marco smiled and said walking off the stage.

He winked at the girls and one fainted.

"Hey wait!" Marco called as Star walked passed him.

"Mm? Yeah?" She asked turning around.

"We should hang out sometime."  Marco suggested smiling at her.

"Um sure. Why not." Star responded smiling too.

"Hey Marco! Babe that was an amazing performance." Jackie kissed Marco cheek and said flirty.

She looked at Star with a fake smile. 

"Let's go Marco." Jackie said annoyed and rolled her eyes at Star.

"Wow this is my life now, huh?" Star asked herself.

(A few weeks before)

"Did it come?! Did it come?!" Star asked her mom jumping around in the kitchen.

"No Star. It hasn't come yet. Now can you excuse me so I can finish this?" Her mom replied annoyed.

"Okay. Sorry Mom." Star said and shy and upset.

"So did it come yet?!" Her friend Pony said over facetime.

"Sadly, no." Star responded with a sad face.

"Oh Star cheer up. I'm sure it will come soon. You're an amazing singer, and dancer, and amazing everything!" Pony said cheerfully.

"Thanks Pony." Star replied with a small smile.

"Look Bfly I gotta go. I'll see you later girl." Pony said, then hung up.

"Okay bye Pony." Star replied sad, then turned her phone off.

(The next day)

It was almost 11 and Star finally came downstairs. 

"Hey Mom, hey dad." Star said mopey.

"Hey sweetie. Hey you okay?" Her dad asked taking a sip of his coffee.

"Oh yeah. Same old, same old." Star replied pouring cereal.

"Well Star we have something for you." Her mom told her standing up in front of Star.

"What's up Mom?" Star asked confused, then look over at her dad still confused as he just shrugged.

"Here." Her mom began and gave her a box.

"What is this?" Star asked taking the cover off the box.

"Well you'll see when you open the box." Her mom told her with her eyebrow up and gave Star a slight smile.

Star looked up at her mom still giving her a confused face, but giving her a slight smile too.

Star opened the cover slowly, then when she opened it she saw a envelop. She grabbed it quickly read on the top, it read. "Echo Creek Academy of Performing Arts."

Star ripped the top open and pulled out a letter.

"What's it say?!" Her more asked as her and Star's dad gave each other excited looks.

"It says." Star started.

"Dear Star Butterfly we just wanna congratulations! You have been accepted to Echo Creek Academy of Performing Arts. Congratulations, we can't wait to see you soon!" Star finished saying.

"Wow! Congratulations sweetheart!"Her mom said hugging her tight.

"Thanks Mom." Star replied hugging her back.
