(The next day)

It was ten o'clock and Star was getting ready for work while her phone kept blowing up with texts.

She looked at her phone seeing all the texts from Tom.

The texts read. "Star? Star answer me?! I need to talk to you! Do you want me to bring you to work?! I have good news!"

Star replies back saying. "Yeah sure you can pick me up at 10:15." 

(At 10:10)

"Star! Tom is here to bring you to work!" Her mom calls up. 

"Okay I'm coming!" Star calls back. 

"Hey Tom." She says when she gets to his car. 

"Hey Star!" Tom replies excitedly. 

"What did you need to tell me?" Star asked as she buckles up. 

"Well... I wanted to tell you that. I applied for a job!" Tom told her excited.

"Really?! Where?!" Star asked excitedly.

"Well I don't want to say in case I don't get the job." Tom told her. 

"Oh right, sorry." Star replied.

"Well here you are." Tom said pulling up to the Coffee House.

"Thanks again Tom." Star said getting out.

"No problem." Tom replied nodding. 

"I'll see you after work." Star told him before leaving.

(During Work)

"Hey Star!" Tom said working in waving to her.

"Uh... Hey Tom? What are you doing here?" Star replied asking. 

"I got the job!" Tom told her smiling.

"Really?! Tom that's amazing! Where are you working?" Star asked.

"Here!" Tom replied with a big smile. 

"Excuse me?" Star asked shocked.

"Yeah. This is where I applied. And now we get to work together." Tom told her and went around the counter to hug her.

"Wow Tom. That's great." Star said.

"I know! I can't wait to start!" Tom said excitedly.

"When are you starting?" Star asked.

"Tomorrow at 10:30." Tom replied. 

"10:30?!" Star asked surprised.

"Yeah. Why?" Tom asked confused.

"That's when I'm working tomorrow." Star told him.

"Oh good! We'll go to work together then." Tom said.

"Can't wait to work here with you." Tom said and kissed Star's cheek.

"Tom..." Star started.

"Right, sorry." Tom replied, then left.

After he left Star took a big sigh.

"I didn't know you two are dating." Nick said coming out from the back.

"We're not he's or was my ex boyfriend's best friend." Star explained.

"What do you mean by was?" Nick asked.

"Well on the last day of school I had a party and by accident me and him kissed while I was dating his best friend. And someone saw us, then they told Marco, my ex boyfriend." Star explained.
