I Trust You

(The next day)

Star walked to her locker she looked around the corner and saw Oskar, then looked the other way and saw Marco coming towards her.

Oskar started walking over to that side where he would see Star.

"Hey babe. How did your family stuff go last night?" Marco asked leaning against the lockers.

"Huh... What?! How'd you know about it?!" Star asked nervous watching Oskar.

"You texted me last night. Remember I apologized, then asked if you wanted to go out and you said no you had family stuff? Remember?" Marco asked trying to get her attention. 

"Oh... Right, right!" Star turned around and said then quickly turned back to Oskar, but she lost him. 

"Are you alright Star?" Marco asked putting his hand on her shoulder.

She turned back to him and said. "I'm fine. Don't worry about it." 

After she said that she kissed his cheek, then left. 

"Uh... Okay I'll see you later!" Marco called as she walked away quickly. 

As she was walking fast she walked right into Tom. 

"Wow, wow Star are you okay? You seem a little freaked out." Tom asked checking on her.

"What?! Oh yeah I'm good. Where's Janna?" Star asked.

"She's not here yet." Tom told her shutting his locker. 

"Hey guys." Janna said from behind Star. 

"Speaking of her. Here she is." Tom said smiling at Janna.

"Hey babe." Janna said smiling back. 

"We should get to class, but I'm gonna find Marco first." Tom told the girl.

After he left Star grabbed Janna's arm and pulled her into the bathroom.

"What?" Janna asked when they stopped. 

"I have to tell you something that happened last night that I can't tell Marco or Tom." Star said getting nervous.

"Okay what is it?" Janna replied.

"I went out with Oskar last night, but before you say anything. It wasn't a date. It was just a hang out, but after when he brought me home he tried to kiss me." Star explained. 

"Star." Janna just said.

"Yeah?" Star asked nervously. 

"Why did you go out with him at all?" Janna asked disappointed. 

"I don't know. I think I was just blinded by his cuteness." Star replied.

"No Star! You can't do that! It doesn't matter if was just a friend thing. You hung out with him and now he's not gonna stop till he gets you. And break your heart. Especially because of what you did to him last night." Janna explained making Star even more nervous. 

"Well what do I do?!" Star asked freaking out. 

"Just every time you see him. Go a different way. Never go near him. And never! Ever! Be alone with him!" Janna explained being serious.

"Okay got it!" Star replied.

"Okay well we should probably started heading to class now. The bell is gonna ring soon." Janna said picking up her bag.

(At lunch)

Marco sat down with the three of them next to Star and put his arm on her chair. 

"So hey Star. You want to talk about what happened earlier?" Marco asked.

"Nope." Star replied.

"Uh... Okay then." Marco said upset looking away. 

Star looked at Marco upset with herself, then she said and stood up. "Excuse me." 

She walked out of the room and into the bathroom where Jackie and her friends were.

Before they could see her Star hid around the corner and listened  to their conversation. 

"I think he's just doing it to make me jealous." Brittany said putting makeup on.

"No I think he's actually into her. I heard he told her he loves her." Another girl said, but Star didn't know who. 

"He did?! He never told me he loves me!" Brittany asked upset.

"Who cares. He was weird. You can do better." Jackie told her annoyed. 

"Jackie do you have a plan to get Marco back?" The girl asked and Star's eyes widened and she started getting mad. 

"Not yet, but I heard him say to Tom that Star was not talking to him and maybe she's mad at him and that's when I'll make my move when she breaks his heart more." Jackie explained.

"She broke his heart?" Brittany asked.

"Almost. He said to Tom that he thinks she's not talking to him because he thinks she's going to break up with him. So he's upset and I guess it's already breaking his heart." Jackie explained. 

"And when his heart is all broken that's when you come in and take him back." Brittany said smiling.

"Yep. And when I do get him back  I'll convince him not to do musical without me especially when she's in it." Jackie said with a smirk. 

"Oh no!" Star whispered to herself.

"Marco thinks I'm gonna break up with him!" She said out loud and the girls heard it. 

"Who's there?!" Jackie asked walking around the corner, but before they saw Star ran out. 

"I gotta talk to Marco." Star said running into the cafeteria, but the three weren't there anymore. 

She walked down the hallway and saw them by Tom's locker. 

She ran over and Marco saw her. When she got to Marco and hugged him tightly.

"I'm not going to break up with you!" Star told him while hugging.

"Okay..." Marco replied awkwardly. 

"What do you mean? I heard Jackie in the bathroom talking to her friends saying you said to Tom that you thought I was mad at you and you thought I was gonna break up with you." Star explained.

"Star..." Marco started saying.

"Star maybe you should tell him." Janna suggested.

"Tell me what?" Marco asked interested.

"Come here." Star said pulling him somewhere quiet.

"Now I'm going to tell you something, but I just want you to know that nothing happened and It didn't mean anything." Star explained as Marco looked at her confused. 

"Uh... Okay." Marco replied still looking at her confused. 

"Last night when I told you I couldn't go out because I had family stuff. I lied. I really went out with Oskar, but It wasn't like a date! It was just a friends thing! But when he took me home he tried kissing me and I almost kissed him back, but then I remembered how important you are to me and how I could never cheat on you! Because you're my boyfriend. And the best boyfriend I could ever ask for!" Star explained.

"Star..." Marco began saying before Star cut him off. 

"I know. You probably don't believe me, but I'm..." Star started.

"Star I do. I do believe you. I trust you. I trust you not to cheat on me. And I hope you're the same way. You trust me not to cheat on me." Marco told her smiling. 

Star looked at him and a tear rolled down her face.

He whipped the tear and kissed her cheek and pulled her in for a hug as my tears rolled down her face.

"Thank you. And yes I do trust you too!" Star said while hugging him. 

"Good." Marco replied.
