Nice To See You Again

(A month later)

Star walked into work and saw Nick and Ross talking. 

"Star! You're here!" Nick said excitedly.

"Hey Star." Ross said awkwardly standing up from the couch.

"Hey Ross." Star replied awkwardly.

"How have you been? Haven't see you since our date." Ross said.

"Yeah. Look I'm really sorry about that Ross. It's just I..." Star started saying.

"I know you got back with your ex." Ross finished saying.

"I'm really sorry." Star told him.

"Don't be. I'm happy for you." Ross told her.

"Alright then it was nice to see you again then." Star said as she started walking to the counter.

"Yeah. You too. Alright I'll call you later Nick." Ross said before leaving.

"Alright bye man!" Nick called.

"I feel bad. I never meant to hurt his feelings." Star told Nick disappointed in herself.

"He'll be fine. I'm pretty sure he flirts with his brother's girlfriend.

"Wait! What?!" Star asked shocked.

"Not like they cheat. I don't think she flirts back, but I know she never says anything about it." Nick explained.

"Was that why he was so desperate for a girlfriend when we went out?" Star asked. 

"Sort of. He used to date this girl before she moved away and before she moved away she cheated on him for fun to embarrass him." Nick explained.

"Why would she do that?" Star asked getting mad.

"Because she liked Ross' brother, but he was dating someone and still is. Anyways she started dating Ross to make his brother jealous, but when it didn't work and she was moving away instead of letting him down gently she decided cheating on him was better." Nick explained.

"How could someone be so heartless?" Star asked.

"I don't know." Nick replied.

"I am such a jerk." Star said leaving.

"Star where are you going?!" Nick asked.

"I gotta go apologize to Ross!" Star called back.

"Star wait!" Nick yelled.

Star was running around looking for Ross until...

"Ross! I'm glad I found you!" Star said excitedly.

"Uh... I think you got the wrong person that's my..." He started saying.

"When did you dye your hair?" She asked.

"My hair had always been brown." He told her.

"I'm telling you I'm not Ross. Ross is my..." He tried saying.

"I'm sorry Marco." Star said then pulled him close to her to kiss.

"Wow! Girl what are you doing?!" He asked pushing her away.

"What are you talking about Ross?! It's me!" She asked confused.

"Listen to me! I'm not Ross! I'm his brother! Harvey!" 

"Wait! What?!" Star asked nervous.

"You mean I kissed you for nothing?!" Star asked worried.

"Well it wasn't for nothing. It was kind of nice, but I do have a girlfriend.

"Right. I know." Star replied.

"How do you know?" Harvey asked.

"I work with Nick." Star told him.

"Oh Nick. He's always at our house. It makes me think they're dating." Harvey told her.

"No they're not! He's dating my best friend!" Star yelled.

"I was kidding." Harvey said with a chuckle.

"Then I should go." Star said and started walking away.

"Wait uh... Star?" Harvey said before she could leave.

"Yeah what's up?" Star asked turning around.

"I got a couple questions." He told her.

"Yeah?" She asked.

"Who's Marco?" He asked.

"He's my boyfriend and if he ever found out about this it wouldn't be good because I kissed his best friend before and that already messed up our relationship before." Star explained.

"Then the next question is if you thought I was Ross why'd you kiss me?" Harvey asked.

"Because when I thought you were Ross you were acting weird and I thought you forgot me, so I had to kiss you for you to remember." Star explained.

"I should go my girlfriend is waiting for me. See you later, maybe." Harvey said walking away. 

"Yeah. Bye." Star said with a wave.
