(Your POV)

School has just finished and I have gotten on the bus saving a seat for Thomas. Thomas has decided to catch the bus with me, even though he has his own car because he didn't want to leave me lonely. It's finally senior year and our friendship is still going strong.

"Thanks for saving my seat, love." Thomas said.

"You don't have to thank me all the time Tommy, i'm always gonna save a seat for you." I say looking at his brown eyes.

"Awww thanks." He says starting to nudge his shoulder against mine. I start to laugh. I always enjoyed these moments with Thomas and I started to get sad knowing that maybe this friendship might end and we are gonna go our separate ways once we graduate.

"Whats wrong (y/n)?" Thomas asked noticing that I looked sad.

"It's nothing" I say trying not to embarrass myself by telling Thomas that I don't want us to separate and that I want us to be more than friends.

"Oh come on (y/n) we all know that, that's a lie. I thought we were friends, you can tell me anything."

"Well it's just that I'm scared about what's gonna happen after we graduate. We might separate and forget about each other." I say avoiding eye contact.

"Well (y/n), I don't know why your so worried about that. I don't think I will ever be able to forget about you and if I do then there's something wrong with me. I think what we should be worrying about is spending more time together." Thomas says wrapping his arm around my waist pulling me closer. The bus stopped on our street and we both got off.

"Don't you get off on the next stop Tommy?" I asked noticing that Thomas got off the bus with me.

"Yeah I know, I just didn't want to leave you wandering the streets alone looking all sad and lonely." He said laughing and wrapping his arm around my shoulder.

"Thanks but then you're gonna be walking even farther to your house all alone."

"Nah, it's okay. I used to do that all the time during the summer anyways. Remember? When I would always come to hang out at your house."

"Yeah those were the good old days, when we could sleep in and there was no homework. And I remember when one night we stayed up until 12 laying on the grass talking and looking up at the stars. That was the best night."

"I wish we could go back to that night."

After 5 minutes, we make it to my house and we both stand silently looking at my house, while Thomas seems like he's expecting something to happen. I break the silence. "Well, I better go inside, my mom is probably wondering why it's taking me so long to come home."

"Yeah we don't want anything to happen." Thomas says still standing there.

          "Okay, i'll see you tomorrow?"

"Yeah, sounds good. See you tomorrow (y/n)." We both wave at each other. I reach the door, but run back to Thomas and give him a quick embrace.

"What's the hug for?" Thomas asked pulling us apart a bit so he can look at me.

"I just felt like giving you a hug." With that Thomas continued hugging me until time caught up with me and I had to go back inside. I felt like we were almost there.
