          (Thomas's POV)

I had hated my weekend except the day (y/n) and I had spent together to celebrate my birthday. Sophia hadn't stop texting me and I tried to ignore it, but as she started texting me as I was going to sleep, I got infuriated and texted her to just leave me alone... in all caps. Which means today at school she's probably gonna try and talk to me. I didn't tell (y/n) anything that had happened because I don't want to bother her and include her into this situation. But on the bright side, Prom is coming up soon, so I had been trying to think of ways to ask (y/n).

"Thomas are you ready for school yet? You're gonna be late!" My mom yelled from downstairs.

"Yeah. I'll be down in a bit!" I had grabbed my backpack and ran down the stairs. I gave my mom a goodbye kiss on the cheek and I was on my way to school. I didn't have to bring (y/n) to school today because she had an appointment to go to this morning which meant that I wouldn't be able to see her until noon. Once I got to the school parking lot, I had stayed in my car because I didn't want to be seen by anyone and what's the point of being at school when (y/n) isn't even gonna be there with you. Suddenly, my phone had vibrated which made me jump in my seat.

         From: Sophia

         To: Thomas

Hey you coming to school? I missed not talking to you this weekend.

I immediately banged my head on the steering wheel letting out the honking noise. I just couldn't stand her anymore. I mean she obviously knew that I have a girlfriend and just because we saw each other in the middle of the street, she thinks that she could just let herself into my life again. What do I have to do to make her understand that I don't want anything to do with her? I just decided to start heading onto campus since there were only 2 minutes left until I have to get to class. Hopefully, we don't bump into each other in the hallway.

By the time I had got to my locker, the bell had rung. I hadn't seen any sign of Sophia yet, which meant that maybe I would get to class without her seeing me. I had walked up the second flight of stairs and was about 5 steps from the class when I saw that golden blonde hair and knew that today was gonna terrible. I started to run and looked at her, wondering if she had left without noticing me and we both locked eyes with each other. She wore a mischievous smile and gave me a tiny wave. I just stood there frozen knowing that I should run into class, but my feet couldn't move. I must have looked like I just had seen a ghost because my mouth was wide open and I didn't even blink.

During class, I couldn't even focus. I've been called on by the teacher and I couldn't even answer her. I don't know why I acted like that this morning. Usually I see her around campus, but knowing that she wants to talk to me again drives me crazy. Time had passed quickly and the bell had rung. I decided to gather my things quickly and run to my car without being noticed. Out of breath, I got in the car and decided to just go to a cafe nearby.

Once I had got to the cafe, I ordered coffee and went to sit outside in hope that I could calm myself down. I started to get bored just looking at the cars passing, so I decided that maybe I should text (y/n).

          Thomas: Hi.

          (y/n): Hey Tommy.

Thomas: Are you gonna come to school soon?

(y/n): Yeah i'm on my way right now. Why, does Tommy miss me?

          Thomas: Yes.

(y/n): Well i'll be there in 5 minutes. I'll see you there.

With the comfort of knowing that (y/n) will be at school with me, I immediately got out of my seat and made my way back to school. I had gotten there in about 5 minutes and headed to my locker because that is where (y/n) and I always meet. It was there at that moment, when I saw (y/n) standing there that I felt happiness.

"(y/n)! I missed you so much" I said running up to (y/n) and embracing her with a big hug. Right as I was hugging her Sophia had turned the corner and saw us together. I placed an even bigger smile and looked at Sophia to make her feel jealous.

" I was only gone during the morning Tommy, I don't think you could have missed me that much." (y/n) said breaking away from our hug, so that she could look at me.

"Believe me I missed you very much, love." I said as I nudged her chin.
