          (Thomas's POV)

I wasn't able to sleep well last night knowing what I had done to (y/n). I couldn't stop thinking how hurt she looked when she was crying. I have never seen her like this and knowing that it was all of my fault made me angry. I always wanted to be the one to protect her, but I haven't been able to have a decent conversation, all because of me. Now I was finally able to know how it feels to have a reality check. I woke up 2 hours before school and started to get ready. Once I was done getting into a long sleeve and pants, I made my way downstairs. I saw my mom drinking coffee at the dining table. As much as I didn't want to talk to her I knew I had to apologize for what had happened last night. I toasted some waffles in the toaster and made my way to the dining table.

"Good morning Thomas. I'm surprised to see you up this early." My mom said as I placed my breakfast on the table.

"Good morning mum." I replied sitting down. "Yeah, I couldn't really sleep good, especially with what had happened last night."

"I must say that you put on a big act last night even with a guest being here." She said with disappoint in her voice. From that look in her eye, I knew now would be the best time to apologize.

"Listen mum. I'm really sorry for everything that I have done. Not only from last night and making a huge scene, but for all the times I have shown you disrespect. There was no reason for me to have acted like that, but I did. I couldn't have asked for a better mum and it pains me to know that I have treated you this way. Anyways, all I wanted to say was that I'm sorry."

"Thank you for the apology. I'm glad my Thomas has finally come back to his normal self, but you really shouldn't be apologizing to me. I think the person you really should be apologizing to is (y/n). I mean think about all of the things you have done to her." My mom placed her hand on top of mine and I already knew I had to do apologize to (y/n).

"I know. I've been planning to apologize to her today when I get to school. Hopefully she won't try to walk away from me though."

"I don't think you should be worried about her walking away Thomas. She has been your best friend ever since middle school and you guys have been through everything together. Just let her know how you feel and everything will go back to the way it was." As my mom and I finished our conversation, I cleaned up and was ready to go to school.

"Have a nice day at school Thomas! And don't get worried I'm sure that you will do just fine." My mom said yelling out of the car window. I waved at her and made my way to my locker. I waited there until the bell rang hoping to talk to (y/n), but she hasn't came. I decided to make my way to class and hoped (y/n) is gonna come to school today.

          (Your POV)

"Mom! Hurry up I'm already an hour late for school!" I yelled from the front door. I woke up late this morning realizing that I forgot to set my alarm for this morning, as I fell asleep right when I got home. For a night like last night, I was surprised at how well I slept without waking up and thinking about Thomas. I wondered if he slept the same way. I had been rushing around the house trying to eat breakfast and get ready as fast as I can. I was ready to go to school in about 30 minutes and once I was done, my mom was still trying to get ready as well. I never really knew why my mom had to put on makeup every time we went out somewhere and it didn't make sense because all she was doing was dropping me off to school. After about 5 minutes of waiting we got into the car.

"Do you have everything?" My mom asked.

          "Yes." I replied.

"Do you think Thomas is gonna talk to you after what had happened last night?"

"I don't know. He might. He might not. I'm just kind of tired of Thomas being so rude and just blocking me out all the time. But, if he wants to talk to me then I'll be glad to hear what he has to say."

"Hopefully he had thought about everything he had done."

"Yeah, hopefully." I said sighing and looking out of the car window. We got there in about 10 minutes and by that time everyone was out for break time. I talked to the administrator letting her know that I was late for school and I headed to my locker.

"Hey (y/n)." I heard Thomas say as he walked up to me.

          "Hi." I replied.

"Look, I just wanted to say sorry about what happened last night and all the other days I have been rude and avoided talking to you. But, I'm mostly sorry for what happened last night. I didn't mean to yell at you and push you against the wall. You have always been there for me and it pains me to know that I wasn't able to do the same. I am just really sorry for what I have done to you and I was just wondering if there is anyway you can forgive me?" It looked like Thomas was on the verge of crying and I have never seen him cry before. I was thinking to myself if I should forgive him after everything that he had done.

"I mean you have hurt me a lot. All the times you ignored me and were being rude to me. But, I still can't let my only best friend go." I said looking back at Thomas. "I guess the only option is to forgive you." Once I finished that sentence, Thomas embraced me with a hug. I hugged him back and stayed there thinking about how we haven't hugged each other in a long time. I smiled knowing that Thomas was finally back to normal which meant that our friendship was back to normal.

"I'm glad I have my Tommy back." I said as I pulled away from our hug. All I could see was Thomas smiling back at me.

"I'm glad I have you back too. And now I know I will never let you go ever again." I had finished school with a smile on my face knowing that Thomas and I were back to normal. No more silent treatments or yelling at each other. But, I still wondered about Sophia and Thomas still being a thing. I just removed that thought as I just wanted to focus on what had happened today.

As the bell rang, I started to make my way to the bus when I saw Thomas. "Hey". I said running up to him.

"Hey how are you doing?" Thomas said placing his arm over my shoulder.

"I'm good, but i'm ready to go home."

"Yeah me too. But we still have to the rest of the week to go." We both made our way onto the bus and I sat closest to the window.

"So how are things going with Sophia?" I say breaking the silence.

"I mean it's okay" he shrugged "She's been very controlling sometimes and she's always trying to spend time with me, but I feel like that because I got into that movie last year she just did it for popularity."

"Well I mean if you don't feel happy around her then maybe it wasn't meant to be. I'll always be there for you Tommy and you can always talk to me. I just think you should listen to what your heart is saying." A few minutes later I made it to my bus stop and Thomas decided to walk me home. As I got to my house I remembered that I forgot to give Thomas something.

"Wait Tommy!" I said running towards him as he was walking away. He turned around and I quickly ran in to him. Thankfully he held my arms for me to stop or we would have probably on the ground by know.

"I forgot to give you something." I said digging into my backpack to find a rectangular box. "I've been carrying this box around ever since you came back from Love, Actually and I was supposed to give this to you, but then things came up. Anyways, I bought you a gold chain, so that whenever your away from home doing a movie and your nervous or you feel homesick then you'll always have this necklace to bring you back home." I opened the rectangular box and put the necklace around him.

"Awww thank you (y/n)." He said pulling me into a hug. "I'm sorry I haven't gotten you anything."

"Oh no it's okay. I just thought this would be a good memory to have. And it lets you know that i'll always be there for you." I said smiling. "Plus, I knew you would look absolutely charming with it on."
