Loved, but for victory!

*Flashback continued*

I stood in the line waiting for my turn to order. It was cold. I had come to nearby refreshment centre to get some cookies and coffee for all. We hadn't eaten anything since night.

Taehyung had been admitted into the ER. Doctors had said something about wrong dosage of medication given to him. His mother had started weeping. His father just held her.

Someone jabbed a finger into my arm.
I looked at my side to see a kid pointing to my coat.
I realized my phone had been ringing for a while. I quickly picked the call

I heard mom's voice.
"Mila forget the coffee. Come over. Taehyung is awake. Hurry!"

I am nimble on my feet. I swiftly was out of the queue and was near the ER.

I walked into the room. There was a nurse explaining something vaguely to his parents. Minutes later the nurse left. Mr. And Mrs. Kim were speaking to Taehyung.

Mr.Kim later left the room with his wife. My parents left too. I was standing next to his bed. Deep in thought.

Half an hour later there was only me, the nurse and Taehyung in the room.

"He has had void opening in left lung for long which wasn't noticed. He'll have to go through a surgery. The breathing problem caused his nose to bleed. He'll be  fine." The nurse said and left.

Though the nurse had said he'll be fine.
I was a little shook. Though I didn't let it show on my face.
I just smiled and sat next to Taehyung.
He slowly held my hand.

I was not used to skinship. I shivered at first. He giggled at my sight.

"Can I tell you a secret?" He asked innocently.

"Sure!" I said.

"I like you!. Since I ever first saw you!"

For a moment I actually was laughing, then seeing that Tae was serious I quickly collected my sanity to register what he had said.

"Wait! You like me? But how can you like someone in  just an hour? We met at the party and were together only for an hour. Then I saw you in a bathroom lying on the floor knocked out of your senses and blood dripping from your nose. How just ? This is not happening. Did you perhaps get a concussion when you fell? I'll ask the nurse!"

I was about to leave when he quickly tightened his grip on my hand.

"Woah! Sit. You're not leaving. And First listen me out!" He said in almost screaming like manner.

His uproar had switched on mute mode in me. I mutely sat back down.

"Will you listen to me?"

I nodded.

"So don't be mad, but I know you since 3 months." I opened my mouth to ask
"And I know you are going to ask how. So listen.
Do you remember some korean had called at your home to ask about arrival of your parents to the meeting?."

Of course I remembered. It was the clumsiest conversation I had ever had over a phone call.
The person had asked where my parents are And my dumbass had answered I don't know.
I just went red in my face.

"Yeah I remember, but what of that." I asked curiously how he knew.

"That was me."
