KELLINS POV
The day of the trial..I rubbed my sweaty palms together as Vic pulled up outside the court.
He looked at me and smiled lightly, "It will be fine."
I let out a shaky breath and attempted to return the smile, "Y-yeah." I stuttered. We clambered out of the car in unison and walked towards the court that seemed to be towering over us, my legs wobbling like jelly.
Vic laced his fingers with mine, squeezing my hand gently.
I gave him a small smile and took a deep breath, dreading the next few hours. We anxiously shuffled into the reception area, taking a seat.
I glanced at the clock nervously and tapped my foot on the floor.
"Half an hour.." I whispered, my voice shaking.
Vic nodded, "It will be fine Kells. Just tell them what he's done, and hopefully they'll lock him up and throw away the key."
I nodded slowly. He gently placed his hand on my knee, "Just remember, you didn't deserve anything he did to you."
"I know." I squeaked out.A woman walked over to us, a fake sympathetic smile plastered over her face.
"If you could enter the court room just to start getting ready."
I sighed and got up, my body shaking with anxiety."Just tell the truth and it will be over before you know it." Vic murmured.
I gave him a small smile and glanced down at my hands before walking into the intimidatingly large room.
I froze to the spot and turned to Vic, my eyes filling up with tears.
"I-i can't do it Viccy." I stuttered. He wiped a falling tear with his thumb and pressed a kiss to my forehead, "Yes, Kells, yes you can. You're strong okay? Really strong. And I know you can do this."
I took a long inhale of breath and nodded quickly, "Okay.."
I walked up to the benches and took a seat.
The same woman rushed in, "I'm sorry we're going to have to start now, we don't have much time today."I let out a small sob, "Vic I-I'm not ready."
Vic took my hand in his, "Kellin, you are so brave, so strong, and so damn amazing. You are ready, and you definitely can do this."I played with his fingers, not wanting to let go.
"Now go kick his ass." He muttered.
A small smile played on my lips, "I will." I breathed.Vic kissed my cheek one last time before walking up to the higher seats and sitting down on one, giving me a supportive smile.
The judge sat at their desk and spoke into a microphone.
"Can we bring up Kellin Quinn Bostwick." They exclaimed.
I took a deep breath and walked over to the stand, trying not to cringe at my legal surname.
"Can Gerard Arthur Way stand."
My heart started pacing fast as I saw Gerard rise.He gave me a nasty smirk, forcing me to quickly look away.
I swallowed hard and tried to remain calm.
"Gerard Way, you have been accused of Physical abuse, Verbal abuse and minor sexual abuse."
Gerard rolled his eyes slightly.
I shuffled uncomfortably and tapped my fingers on the wooden ledge in front of me."Mr way, Mr Bostwick. Do you promise to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth?"
