I stare at the lights across the bay
knowing their buildings,
knowing their people,
knowing too much about them all together.
Maybe the stars are only so lovely
because we don't know them at all.
Maybe I was more beautiful
before the fall.

Before The Fall
I stare at the lights across the bay
knowing their buildings,
knowing their people,
knowing too much about them all together.
Maybe the stars are only so lovely
because we don't know them at all.
Maybe I was more beautiful
before the fall.
