What in the hell was Hunk thinking? I thought to myself. He wasn't sending me signals. That's just insane.

"Is there something you'd like to say?" My 3rd hour Social Studies teacher, Shiro, asked me in the middle of his lesson.

Shit! Had I been talking out loud to myself this whole time? "Sorry, it's nothing."

"Alright," He said, a bit annoyed, "Just maybe mumble to yourself a bit quieter from now on."

I just nod my head, not really listening, still thinking about - him. Lance. No, no I wasn't. I wasn't thinking about him. Nope. No way.

The whole class must be looking at me at this point. Shit. "What are you looking at?" I say angrily. They look away.

After class, I'm about to walk out of the room at the front of class, when Shiro grabbed my arm, "Hey, you got a sec?"

"Yeah, sure, what's up?" I ask him.

"I just wanted to talk to you about earlier."

"Oh, the mumbling, I'm really sorry about that."

"No, no, it's okay. I just wanted to ask you what you were mumbling about. You sounded pretty intense."

I blush immediately, "N-no, I wasn't. I was just trying to remember what homework I had."

He smirks, "Sure, sure. Are you sure it wasn't about a person?"

"I-I need to get to my next class," I push past him out of the door.

I walk through the hallway, past locker after locker. I don't even think to myself, I just walk in silence. Well, other than the students talking, and bullies pushing other students against lockers. I stare at the ground as I walk, trying to watch out for feet, so I don't run into anybody. Suddenly, I feel a thud, as I run into another person. I see his hands reach out to balance himself, they're dark. Oh shit, it's Lance.

I was trying to avoid him, "I'm sorry," He says.

"It's okay. D-do you think I could talk to you for a second?" Quiznack, what am I doing?

He seems kind of annoyed, "Yeah, sure."

"So, I was with Hunk, and he said that you were sending me signals," I force a laugh, "Funny, right?"

We make quick eye contact, and I see that he's glaring at me, "Yeah, funny. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to get going." He pushes past me, and I turn to yell after him, but I decide not to.

I sulk off to my next class, extremely gloomy. Hopefully, I'll be able to talk to him at lunch.

Sorry this chapter's a little shorter, I was having a bit of writer's block, and I wanted to put the next part into a seperate chapter. I hope you're enjoying the story so far, and keep reading!
