A drop on my head breaks the calming atmosphere.

"No." I hiss out.

Drip.

"Your kidding."

"Sup Vi?"

"Stupid roof!"

I stomp to the kitchen and rummage through the cupboards looking for something the catch the water in. A bucket falls out of the cupboard making more noise, satisfied with my find I stomp back to the living room and slam the bucket under the leak. I turn to Ashton only to meet a shocked face, realizing what had just happened I feel my face heat up. I stand up straight, scratching the back of my neck. I totally forgot he was there.

"It was time to go into sleep mode anyway." A crooked grin graces my features and I sigh. "Do you need anything?"

"U-um do you have a blanket?"

...

"Please tell me you know what a blanket is."

"I do! I'm just trying to process where they are!"

There used to be a blanket draped over the back of the couch, but I don't see it. I cautiously make my way towards the couch as if it would run away at any sudden movement. I circle my way to the back of the couch, the blanket lays bundled on the floor. I swiftly pick it up and shake off the dust.

"Is this ok?"

The blanket definitely looked worn. It was made of many faded patches woven together with what looks to be white yarn. It looked very delicate, like if I held it the wrong way it would disintegrate.

"Yeah." Ashton steps away from the window, I watch him make his way towards me; afraid he will fall and hurt himself further.

"Thanks." I feel the blanket being pulled gently from my grasp. I watch Ashton go to the couch.

"Night." Ashton has begun his sleep mode.

"Night?" I sit on the floor and press my back against the side of the couch. I shut my eyes and begin my sleep mode.
