Akko is a very popular J-pop artist (that diana is a fan of) and is visiting America at the same time that Diana is, and they bump into each other when akko was running away from all the fans and cameras

Akko ran down the street at top speed constantly looking behind her to see if they we're still following her, nothing, akko smiled, she finally lost them,  she stuffed her hands into the pockets and began to happily walk down the street." finally, I can enjoy my trip" she said to herself, not even 5 seconds after saying that she bumped into someone causing both of them to fall, akko got up fast  " oh my god im so sorry let me help you!"  she reached out her hand and the girl grabbed it "thank you" she said as she moved her blonde hair away from her face , she paused,  her eyes widened a bit" aren't you akk-" she got cut off by akkos hand " don't talk so loud' but yes i am" the blond nodded as she moved akkos hand, akko sighed with relief "thank you umm..." akko paused realizing she didnt know the  blondes  name, "diana cavendish" she smiled as she tired to remain cool as she was meeting one of her favorite artist. "well its nice to meet you diana" akko smiled, diana began to turn and walk off, "actually" akko said, diana stopped and turned to face akko "diana would you like to get some tea or something"

after what seem like hours of talking and laughing  diana checked the time " I should get going" diana got up  akko nodded and smiled " how long are you staying in america? we should meet up sometime" diana smiled grabbed a napkin and wrote down her number " ill be staying for about a week text me" akko nodded and smiled as diana walked out. later she got to her hotel and got yelled at by her manager for running off alone.
