Not So Happy Campers: Part 1

*Last time on Total Drama*

A video of Bree singing soon played, and Chris couldn't look away from the computer screen. 'Beautiful and talented! She is perfect.' The host thought as he continued to listen to Bree sing. When the video ends, Chris replays it and happily says, "Chef, I've just found Total Drama's twenty-third contestant." In his years of working in show biz, Chris had seen thousands of beautiful women, but none had captured his attention as Bree did. There was just something about her that made her stand out from the rest, and that's what caught Chris's attention. He wanted to know more about her, so Chris researched her, and what he found had impressed him.

'Huh, she has a FanFiction, Deviantart, and a Wattpad account. Sweet!' For the rest of the day, Chris browsed through Bree's artwork. "Wonder if she will draw me a portrait?" Chris said quietly to himself as he went back to looking at her drawings and paintings while Chef was reading Bree's stories on his phone.

~Time-Skip~

"Yo! We're coming at you live from Camp Wawanakwa, somewhere in Muskoka, Ontario. I'm your host, Chris McLean. Dropping season one of the hottest new reality show on TV right now!"

"Here's the deal: 23 campers have signed up to spend eight weeks at this crummy old summer camp. They'll compete in challenges against each other. Then, they have to face the judgment of their fellow campers."

"Every three days, one team will either win a reward or watch one of their team members walk down the Dock of Shame. Take a ride on the loser boat and leave Total Drama Island for good."

"Their fate will be decided here at the dramatic campfire ceremonies where all but one camper will receive a marshmallow each week. In the end, only one will be left standing and rewarded with cheesy tabloid fame and a small fortune, which, let's face it, they'll probably blow in a week."

"To survive, they'll have to battle Black Flies-Grizzly Bears. Disgusting camp food! And each other. Every moment will be caught on one of the hundreds of cameras all over the camp."

[Commercial Break]

"Welcome back to Total Drama Island. All right, It's time to meet our first 11 campers. We told them they'd all be staying at a five-star resort, so if they seem a little T.O.ed, that's probably why. Beth, what's up?" A girl with a side ponytail and braces walked off the yacht. "It's so incredulous to meet you. Wow, you're much shorter in real life." The girl said with a lisp. Chris didn't know what to think of Beth's comment. "Uh, thanks. DJ." Soon, a tall, black, athletic-looking male walked onto the dock. He had an "I'm a big momma's boy" vibe. "Yo, Chris McLean. How's it going? Hey, are you sure you got the right place here? Where's the hot tub at?" DJ asked, confused.

"Yo, dawg. This is it. Camp Wawanakwa." The host said, trying not to laugh at the athletic male's disappointment. "Hmph. Looked a lot different in an application form." DJ muttered as another yacht showed up at the dock."Hey, Gwen." Chris said to a pasty white goth girl with blue and black highlighted hair, wearing black clothes and a short skirt. She walked off the boat, took one quick look at the place, and said in complete disbelief, "You mean we're staying here?" The goth girl's reaction was enough almost to make the host fall over laughing hysterically."No, you're staying here. My crib is an airstream with A.C. That-a-way." Chris pointed to the woods. "I did not sign up for this." Gwen complained, and Chris brought out a hefty contract that he waved in front of her, saying, "Actually, you did." Gwen smiled evilly as she snatched the contract out of his hand and tore it in half, and then she threw what was left into the lake. "The great thing about lawyers is...they make lots of copies." Chris smiled happily as he pulled out another contract from out of nowhere.
