*Last time on TDI*

*Still Chris's POV*

After fixing our clothes, we sat on the ground, and Bree laid her head on my shoulder. "How did you find this place, Chris?" She asked. "I found it when I explored the island," I replied, but she gave me a questioning look, so I told her about how I found a giant diamond on the island and how I used it to buy the whole island. Bree was quiet throughout the story; she didn't say a single word. All she did was listen. "I had a good time, Chris." Bree smiled and kissed my cheek.

"You know, I should thank my family for sending that audition video," Bree says, and I agree because if it weren't for them, I wouldn't have met her. And meeting Bree was the greatest thing that had ever happened to me. "Chris." She says my name. "Yeah, babe," I replied as I held her hand. "It's getting late. We have a big day tomorrow." Bree tiredly says as she stands up and yawns. I couldn't help but think that she looked so adorable. Taking one last look around, we returned to my trailer and went to bed.

~The next day~

A delicious mouth-watering aroma had woke me up. So I got out of bed and followed the wonderful smell to the kitchen, where I found Bree making chocolate chip muffins, bacon, scrambled eggs, coffee, and hash browns. As soon as I saw the coffee, I mentally said, 'I have the best girlfriend ever.' Believe it or not, I consider myself lucky to be with Bree. "I thought that you were still in bed." She said while getting the muffins out of the oven. Bree set them on the cooling rack, and I soon wrapped my arms around her waist. "Who can sleep when you're in here making delicious food." I affectionately kissed her cheek, and she smiled.

"You're in a good mood." Bree pointed out as I nuzzled the crook of her neck. "How can I not be? I have a smart and beautiful girlfriend who is very talented." I whispered in her ear before playfully nipping it. Then I let her go, and for once, I set the table. She looked so shocked, and when she got over her shock, she put her hand on my forehead. "Well, you don't have a fever." Taking hold of her wrist, I moved her hand away from my forehead and gently kissed her."I can be considerate every once in a while." I saw her smile at me, and then we both ate breakfast.

(Bree's POV)

Whenever I'm with Chris, I feel so happy and safe. He makes me feel loved and wanted, and even though we've been dating for only a few days, I found myself falling for him. Reality soon hit me, and I wondered what would happen after the show. I'd be going home, and Chris, I had no idea if he would be okay with a long-distance relationship. 'Why does my life have to be so confusing?' I sighed and ate my food until Chris asked, "What's wrong?" Knowing that the question about our relationship would arise sooner or later, I voiced my concerns, "Chris, what will happen once the eight weeks are up, and I have to go home?"

He held my hand and said, "If you want a long-distance relationship, that is okay with me. So don't worry. We will find a way to make it work." Even though we wouldn't be able to see each other as much as we would like to because of Chris's job and me living so far away, we'd find a way to make it work. "So you're okay with us having a long-distance relationship?" I innocently ask. "As long as I get to be with you, it's worth it." My heart skipped a beat when Chris said that. 'I'm glad that we can still be together.' I smiled to myself before eating my muffin.

~Small Time-skip~

"Bass, Gophers, today's challenge is a true summer camp experience, a canoe trip," Chris announced, and everyone looked at the canoes on the beach. "You'll be paddling your canoes across the lake...to Bony Island." He spookily says and continues, "When you get there, you must portage your canoes to the other side of the island, which is about a two-hour hike through treacherous, dense jungle." Chris pointed to the island map while I tried to memorize all of it."We've got to pour what?" Geoff asked, confused. I stared at Chris and noticed that he was fighting the urge not to facepalm.
