It was a regular morning, just like any other. Bree slept so soundly until her older brother Alex put a sports horn close to Bree's ear and set it off. The noise was enough to cause his younger sister to fall out of bed and hit her head on the floor. The scene was so funny that Alex laughed hysterically until his sister got off the floor, and Spartan kicked him in the family jewels hard enough to make him fall on the floor and painfully clutch his nuts. "That's what you get for waking me up with a sports horn!!" She yelled to the top of her lungs before storming out of her room.

'I hate it when Alex wakes me up so fucking early!! And I was having the best dream ever until he ruined it!' Bree internally rants as she walks downstairs to the kitchen to make her breakfast. Grabbing a frying pan, bacon, and eggs, Bree starts making scrambled eggs and bacon while singing, Make a Move by Icon For Hire.

Somebody make a move
Somebody make a move
Somebody
Test my reality
Check if there's a weak spot
Clingin' to insanity
Hopes the world will ease up
Try to make it look like it's all somehow getting better
'Cause I know how to play it pretty good against the measure
Everyone started out a little insane
But we learn pretty quick how to fake it for the game
But some of you never learned to drop the act
So under that skin of yours: a heart attack
'Cause everybody's so scared
We don't wanna go there
We don't wanna make a move
We got got all our lives to lose
Screaming in the dark while we just play our part
I'll play right along
Like I don't know what's going on
Somebody make a move
Somebody make a move
Please somebody make a move
We all know
We all know what's going on
And if I had the answers I'd have written them out
So I could tell you what to do and what this thing is about
But all I've ever learned comes second-hand
And I dare not preach what I don't understand
You and I; we share the same disease
Cover up; compromise what we grieve
I've let more than my share of revivals die
This isn't pretty but it's who I am tonight
'Cause everybody's so scared
We don't wanna go there
We don't wanna make a move
We got got all our lives to lose
Screaming in the dark while we just play our part
I'll play right along
Like I don't know what's going on
Somebody make a move
Somebody make a move
Please somebody make a move
We all know
We all know what's going on
Pointing my fingers the problems still linger
They keep getting bigger and I hold the trigger
Playing with fire I live like a liar
Please somebody make a move
Somebody make a move (I'm pointing my fingers)
Somebody make a move (The problems still linger)
Somebody make a move (I'm pointing my fingers)
Somebody
Somebody make a move
'Cause everybody's so scared
We don't wanna go there
We don't wanna make a move
Screaming in the dark while we just play our part
I'll play right along
'Cause everybody's so scared
We don't wanna go there
We don't wanna make a move
We got got all our lives to lose
Screaming in the dark while we just play our part
I'll play right along
Like I don't know what's going on
Somebody make a move
Somebody make a move
Please somebody make a move
We all know
We all know what's going on
Somebody make a move
Somebody make a move
Please somebody make a move
We all know
We all know what's going on

While Bree happily sang, her mom, dad, and brother quietly recorded her until the song ended. Bree soon slightly turned her head, and her family didn't waste any time hiding their cell phones behind their backs.

(Bree's POV)

For some strange reason, my mom, dad, and Alex have been acting so weird lately. I didn't think much of it because they always act funny, so it was normal. I turned off the stove, fixed myself a plate of food, walked to the living room, and watched my all-time favorite music video, "Fame Town." My big brother soon sat by me on the couch and said, "Fame Town? Bree!?" I sent him a "Go to hell look," and Alex shut up."Have you ever thought about auditioning for Total Drama Island?"

I've thought about auditioning for the show to meet Chris, but I always chickened out.  My cousin Izzy and I tried to make my audition tape, but I froze at the beginning of the interview. "Yeah, I've thought about it several times. But you know how shy I get around strangers and cameras." I said quietly, and he gently patted my head."Don't worry, you will grow out of it, B Bear." I groaned when my brother called me that dreaded name."Bree! Duncan's on the phone!" I paused the video and ran out of the living room and into the kitchen to talk to Duncan. I haven't heard from him because he got sent to juvie again.

(Alex's POV)

How my sister and that delinquent became friends, I'll never know. D is an okay guy once you get to know him. When D is with Bree, he acts like a completely different person. Don't get me wrong, he still acts like a bad boy, but he acts like her protector when he's around my little sister. "OMG!! Are you serious, Mohawk? Your audition got accepted?" I heard Bree excitedly ask Duncan. Shaking my head, I walk out of the living room and head to my bedroom to upload the video of my sister singing onto my laptop. Once the video was uploaded, Mom and Dad and I made Bree's audition tape.

'She's going to be so pissed at us! But she'll get over it.' I quietly thought as I clicked the send button. I knew the audition tape we all made for Bree would be accepted. Now, the only thing left to do was wait. 'At least Izzy and D will be on the island with Bree.' I smiled at the comforting thought.

*Meanwhile, with Chris*

"Chef, how many audition tapes are left?" Chris asked in a bored tone. "About thirty-one," Chef replied as he amusingly watched his friend hit his head on the table multiple times. "Great!" Chris said sarcastically as he thought about how they were all going to suck. And he was right, the auditions had all sucked. "These are terrible! I will lose it if I have to watch one more audition." The raven-haired man whined as he got out of his chair. Chef found the whole thing amusing. Seeing his friend act this way had made his day; he got a kick out of seeing his best friend annoyed."We already have twenty-two contestants; we don't need anymore." Chris said as he paced back and forth around the room, driving Chef crazy.

The ex-military soldier was about to knock Chris out until he saw the email icon on the laptop screen."Yo, Chris, man. We have one more audition to watch. And who knows, this one might not suck." Chris doubted the audition video, but he sat down and watched the video with Chef. A beautiful girl with light orange hair appeared on the screen, and Chris and Chef saw a boy with the same hair color appear on the screen. 'He must be her brother.' Chef and Chris both thought as they continued to watch the video.

"This is my seventeen-year-old sister, Bree Anderson. She's an artist and a writer. If you want to see her art, here's a picture." The orange-haired boy brought out two framed portraits of her family and one of Chris. 'This girl is amazing.' Chris thought as he stared at the picture of himself. "Bree's a shy girl; my parents and I want to change that. We all hope that if my little sister gets accepted, she might leave her shell. If you guys need another reason for why you should choose my sister, check this out."

A video of Bree singing soon played, and Chris couldn't look away from the computer screen. 'Beautiful and talented! She is perfect.' The host thought as he continued to listen to Bree sing. When the video ends, Chris replays it and happily says, "Chef, I've just found Total Drama's twenty-third contestant."

The next chapter will be told from both Chris and Bree's point of view
