Alright, he could do this.

Shiro swallowed. 'Breathe, just knock and wait for the do- but what if he's asleep- now you're being pathetic, he literally left like five minutes ago.' He thought to himself, trying to find an excuse to walk away and go back to his room, but he found none.

Even his own consciousness was telling him to stop being a giant chicken.

Sighing after a moment, the leader closed his eyes and tapped his knuckles on the large metal doors, realizing a bit too late that it was his galra arm, creating a rather loud clanking noise, that echoed in his ears slightly.
Cringing, he dropped his hand just as the doors released a small wave of warm air that smelled like summer, signalling that the doors were opening. Looking up from the floor, Shiro felt his heart rate increase. Before him stood Lance, no green mask, and wet chocolate curled hair, and short-shorts displaying his long legs that seemed to shine.
He was very....pretty.

"Shiro? What are you doing here?" He asked, a small smile claiming his plump lips as Lance looked up at the older man, though his blue eyes told a different story.

"Ah.." Fuck, he didn't expect this. 'What did you expect?' "I just wanted to see how you were doing, since you left in such a rush. I was worried that you maybe got sick." Shiro stated, chuckling at the boy's nervousness, trying to appear casual so Lance could relax.

The Cuban's eyes went wide and his smile dropped for a moment, before he grinned up at him, showing off pearly whites and cute tiny fangs. "Thanks for caring, want to come in and talk? It can be anything, like alien mermaids!"

Shiro could swear to the devil that he saw a blush on the boy's face when he stepped aside, bowing dramatically. "Of course."

Once the heavy doors closed behind the big man, lance bounced infront of him smiling widely. "Imma go dry off, just sit on the bed or something!" He exclaimed with a wave, skipping to the conjoined bathroom.

Looking around the now quite room, Shiro felt all of his nerves hit him.
'I'm going to make a fool out of myself-what are we going to talk about- what if he gets bored of me?' He felt overwhelmed as all his thoughts blended together.

'Calm down, don't you know that pretty people can sense fear- what the fuck.'

Shaking his head, Shiro sat down on the soft blankets that lance had, noticing that he had much more pillows than the rest of them, and many odd looking toys in the corner of his bed. His room was nice.

"Coran gave them to me," He whipped his head around to see the blue paladin leaning against the bathroom frame with a towel hanging around his neck and shoulders, the ends of his hair were tiny curls expressing that his hair was still a bit damp. "We were going through one of the floor's storages and he was going throw them out." He said, smile turning sad. "But, they were for the Altean children. I couldn't let something so precious be thrown. Coran was crying when he brought them up here, he was so happy when I said it too. I wish I took a picture or two." Lance laughed, a sweet and qentle sound that Shiro would have missed if he wasn't listening to him as close as he was. "Ive never heard him like this before." The leader thought, swallowing the reality of it. Sharp senses or not, this isn't just a story.

It's a memory.

"That's very nice of you, lance. Im proud that you thought of something like that, even when Coran wanted to get rid of them." He smiled at him, trying to cover just how fond of it he really was.
