Darcy started awake as a note landed on her desk. She glanced over to see Harry smirking, a look he had learned from her. Slowly, she reached forward and unfolded the piece of paper.
"Darcy,
I kinda have to admit this so just hear me out...er, whatever it is for a note. I kinda really really like you and I was wondering if maybe you wanted to like be together, or not, I don't really know. Ugh, just know I'm crushing on you.
Harry"
Smirking better than Harry ever could, she gripped her quill between her fingers and wrote a reply.
"Was that your rather pathetic attempt at asking me out?"
"Maybe"
"Yes or no."
"Yes. So will you be my girlfriend?"
"Maybe.
"Yes or no"
"Sure. I mean, I like you back."
"Okay. Cool"
"Was there a point to that? Maybe?"
"Maybe"
"Maybe maybe will be our okay."
