The short vacations ended for Vanessa, the work will start again tomorrow, and, although it was only a couple of days, that vacations seemed that they had lasted 1 month. Austin will took her to the airport, but since the flight was only at night, they decided to enjoy the day. They left and stopped in front of her mother's house, so she can say goodbye. For the next two months, she wouldn't go back to LA and it wouldn't be easy to control the homesicknesses.
After saying goodbye to Gina, Vanessa's mother, they decided to go out to lunch, cinema and finish off with a hot air balloon ride. After all, Vanessa knew that Austin knew her well and knew what she liked, he loved her unconditionally and she felt guilty that she couldn't love him in the same way. Love isn't always rational, it's stubborn and destiny is its faithful companion, they often go hand in hand, love and destiny.
The day went by and Austin left Vanessa at the LA airport. It was already dark, and it was still a few hours before the flight, but Vanessa liked to fly at night so she could sleep and rest. She tooked her suitcases from the car, said goodbye to her fiance, and headed to the airport, sitting on a bench reading a little of a book she brought for the trip.
Far away from there, Zac awakened with a giant headache and no sense of what happened last night. He was trying to figure it out what happened until he saw Lily lying naked next to him, and then he remembered. He felt guilty even though they owed nothing to anyone, but just because he'd gotten involved with Lily to try to forget Vanessa made him feel bad. He got up, got dressed, and went to his room without Lily waking up, praying he wouldn't find anyone in the hotel hall.
He managed to get to his room without being seen, decided to take something for the headache and lay down for a while. Today would be the last day of filming and he only starts shooting later, ending his participation in the movie in the early afternoon, so he lay down and began to think about what happened last night, since it all began when he get Lily from her room until finishing the night with the same Lily, in the same room. "That damn room" thoughted Zac, while in his head he thought about what he would say to the young woman when he saw her. He was interrupted in his thoughts by a knocking on the bedroom door. When he opened it, he found Lily standing in front of the door, realizing that the conversation wouldn't be delayed, it had to be there and now.
- Hey Lil! I thought you were sleeping, is something wrong? - Zac asked.
- Hey! No, I just woke up and didn't see you... Listen, Zac, we need to talk ... Can I come in?
- Sure! Where are my manners? ... - Zac laughed.
Lily came in and sat on the bed, Zac reached for a chair and sat down in front of her.
- Look Zac, about yesterday ...
-You don't have to say anything Lil, really! We were drunk and it happened, I want to apologize, it will not happen again! We're friends, I would never do anything to ruin our friendship - he said.
- The problem is that... I wish it would happen again!
- What??
- I know your heart has been occupied for a long time by the same person, but I haven't stopped thinking about you Zac for a long time. Yesterday happened and I'm glad it happened, because it made me realize what I truly feel for you!
- I had no idea that this was how you felt - Zac said, surprised at what he just heard.
- But it is, and I would like you to give me one chance, just one for me to prove to you that you can forget her!
- Lily, I really like you, but not the way you like me, I'm sorry...
- Zac, love grows, and I believe that if you give me a chance, you'll fall in love, give me just one chance!
- I ... I don't know what to say...
- I realize it's hard at the moment, that's a lot of information to process, and I also know shooting ends today, but go home and think, please, think of giving me a chance. I'll be waiting for your call - said the brunette.
And when she had said this, she got up, kissed Zac, and went out.
Zac shooted his scenes that day and, thinking of his good and Lily's too, decided to not attend the party and anticipate his return home. He had bid farewell to the entire cast and fabricated a tattered excuse not to go, promising that later on when they would be promoting the film he would organize a party for everyone.
He arrived at the airport in the late afternoon and bought the ticket for the first flight that departed toward Los Angeles, would be 4 hours of travel that he hoped will pass preety fast.
