Dee pov

"Dee,I would feel better if you used your walking stick."said jermaine.i glared at him.he held the walking stick in one hand.

"I am not using that stupid stick."

"Dee,please?"

"No!"

"Okay.its either the sunglasses or walking stick."

"Sunglasses."jermaine nodded

"Did you take your medicine?"

"Yes."

"Did you eat breakfast?"he asked.no.

"Yes."then he handed me my sunglasses.

"Wait,I want my clout glasses."

"That is your clout glasses."he said.I smacked my lips

"My clout glasses lens are circular not square."

"Fine."then he dig in his pocket and handed me the glasses.I put it on.

"Okay.let's go."he said.I nodded.we walked out the house to his car.I stood at the car waiting for him to unlock it.

"Dee,I parked at the curb."he said.

"I hate when you do that!"

"I didn't move anything else."he said.I walked down the driveway.I heard the car turn on.I follow it and hop in.he drove to the school.we hop out the cae.he grabbed my hand.I snatched my hand back.

"No.I feel like a little kid when you do that."

"Dee,I am supposed to guide you."He said.I sigh.yeah.we are in public setting.I put my wrist on his shoulder.

"Better?"

"Yup."he said.we walked in the school.

"We are here to see the councilor."he said.

"Down the hall to the left."said a female voice.we followed her direction.

"Hello I am ms june.and you are?"

"Jermaine and my sister diamond."he said.Then I heard shuffling of papers.

"Diamond what?"she asked.

"Barmer."he said.

"Wow!you are the first blind student we had since 5 years ago."she said.

"So there no other blinds kids here?"

"No.not currently."she said.then her and my brother talk about hour ago before she gave my schedule.

"Do you need a guide?"she asked

"No."

"Yes."said jermaine.

"Okay.I will have a student to guide you.you can wait in the office."she said.then I glared at jermaine.then we walk out the office.

"There a chair behind you."he said.I nodded.I lightly touched the arms of the chair before sitting down.

"Call me after school is out."he said.he nodded.he left.i pull out my ear buds out my pocket with my iphone.I put only ear bud in my ear so I can sound the voice over on my phone.I scroll through twitter while I waited.

"Blind people can use iphones?"asked a female voice.oh lord here comes the stereotypes.

"Yes."I put my phone in my pocket and took the ear bud out.

"I am latto."

"Dee."

"Well I am guide from the rest of the school.so hopefully you like me cuz you stuck with me."she said.

"Actually i can just ask for another one."she gasp.

"Chill.I don't hate you."I stood up.

"So where we going?"I gave her my schedule.

"English.so I guess you just follow me?"she asked.

"Actually no.I have being touching you.gimme your arm."I put my hand out.she give her wrist.

"Sorry if this feels weird."i lightly run my finger up her arm to her shoulder.I let go of wrist.I put my wrist on her shoulder.

"Okay.I am ready."Then we walked around the school.When someone ran into me.

"Watch it."

"My bad."said a male voice.the guy stuck his hand out to help her up but she didn't.I stood up and dust myself off.the guy shrugged.

"Latto."

"Yes."said latto.I turn to the direction i heard her voice.

"You are a terrible guide."

"I am new to this!and besides I didn't even him running."said latto.

"I guessing you are new?"asked the guy.

"Nor I am just visiting."

"Anyways i am nova."

"I am none of business.aye latto can we go now?"

"Yeah."said latto.Then we walked to a classroom.

"This is ms may class."she said.I nodded.I heard talking and low music playing.then someone grabbed my arm.I snatched my arm back out the person hold.

"Hi!I am jayla!"then the bell ring.it hurt my ears since i got better early hear then slight person.

"Everyone sit down!"said a female voice.

"That's ms may."said latto.I nodded.then she took me to a desk.I sit down.

"I will back after class."she said.I nodded.

I sat with latto and her friends at lunch.when a heard a person pulled the chair out from the table and sat down.

"Did y'all miss me?"asked a familiar voice.

"No."said mani.

"What made you think that?"asked latto.

"Latto."

"Yea."said latto.I turn to her.

"Who is that?"

"That's nova."Said latto.

"What about me?"asked nova.

"Nothing."said latto.

"Aye,I never caught your name."said nova.

"Cuz I never threw it."

"Oooh."said mani.

"Good one."said latto.

"Latto,who is she?"asked nova.

"My friend."Said latto.then bell rang.I hissed at the sound.

"Sensitive ears?"asked latto.

"Yup."

"Off to art class.we go."said latto.she grabbed my hand.I snatched it back.

"No.don't that."

"Do what?"

"Hold my hand."

"oh sorry."then I place my wrist on her shoulder.we walked to class.

"Give me your phone."said latto.I give her my phone.

"This audio is annoying."

"To you its annoying but to me its helpful."

"Then I saved my number in your phone."

"Under what?"

"Latto em know."

"Why?"

"That's my catch phrase."I nodded.

"How was your first day of regular school?"asked jermaine
