Dee pov

I walking to homeroom when grabbed my wrist.I snatched my arm back.

"Dee,chill.its me."said nova.

"Don't do that.just call my name."he grabbed my hand.

"Latto,told me to take you to our homeroom class."said nova.

"Y'all take homeroom together?"

"Well las week my schedule got change so I am in class with latto"we started walking to his homeroom which was long walk.

"We here."said nova.

"I can see that."said latto.then nova guided me to seat next latto.nova sat behind me.

"What class is this?"

"Health ed."said mani.

"You know let me go back my us history class."

"Health ed ain't bad.we just do bookwork in here."said latto.I heard more students come in.

"Yo,who the new chick?"whispered a male voice.

"I don't know."whispered another student.

"Is it always this noisy?"

"Yup."said mani.he was sitting in front of me.

"Is it bothering you?"asked nova.

"No.it just I just used to almost slient cuz most the students in my class use sign language."the bell rang.

"Okay.class do page 125."said the voice from the front of class.I am guessing its the teacher.I heard books opening and pages turning.

"Amd who are you?"asked the teacher.

"People call me dee."

"Well "dee" if you going skip in my class.you going to work."said teacher.a book got slammed on my desk.

"Get to work."said teacher.then she walked away.I smirked.

"Why you smirking?"asked latto.

"Cuz she doesn't know I can't read."

"you can't read!!!!"yelled mani.I forgot mani doesn't know about disability.i felt everyone looking at me.

"Ms dee,you can't have sunglasses on in the building."said teacher.

"These are reading glasses."

"Young lady!i don't like sarcasm."said teacher.

"Dee,chill."whispered nova.

"Too bad cuz its my second language."I smirked.I heard class laugh

"Too bad you can't read in either language."said teacher.

"That just because-"

"Latto,have some respect this old lady is trying to tell me something I already know."

"Old?young lady you wipe your sunglasses.I am young."said teacher.

"Watch this."I whispered.I took my sunglasses off but close my eyes.

"Your ugliness blinded me!"

"Blindness is nothing to joke about.young lady."said teacher.

"I can joke about it cuz its mines to joke about.similar to how my scars are mines to poke at."

"What?"asked teacher.nova and latto laughed.

"I am blind."I opened my eyes.the class gasped.

"so that's you can't read."said mani.

"sorry I didn't mean to hurt your feelings.I didn't know."said teacher.I nodded.I put my sunglasses back on.

"See i told you people started acting different when they know."Then the bell rang.

"What class you in dee?"

"In chemistry."we went to my class.latto sat behind me and nova sat next to me.I heard shuffling.

"So nova you doing here?"asked jayla.

"Dee ask me too."said nova.

"No.I didn't."

"But you didn't say no."The bell rang.

"Skippers?"asked ms may.

"Yup."said latto.

"Whatever.turn to page 31."said ms may.

"Can I get a braille book?"asked nova.

"Me too."said Latto.

"conner,start."said ms may.

"dee,it's boring in here."whispered nova.

"Ssh.I need focus on what they are saying so I don't have follow along in my book."after 45 mins of reading the bell rang.

"Dee,can show me how read braille?"said nova.

"Why?"

"Cuz it looks cool."

"Yeah.I free after school.meet me at my house."

"Okay."

When I got home i took my hoodie off.I changed in a some sweats and an tank top.

"Dee!"yelled jermaine.

"What?"

"come in the kitchen."

"Why would I do that?I ain't stupid big fella! "

"Well the boy in the kitchen."

"i ain't going to kitchen.nova come to my room.its upstairs!"I yelled.then few moments nova walked in my room.

"Sit on the floor."

"This is a nice carpet."said nova.I grabbed a bandana from my drawer.I placed some basic braille books in front nova.

"Okay I have blindfold you.actually you do it yourself."

"Why I need to be blindfolded?"

"Its cheating when you trying to learn braille."

"Okay it on."I reach forward to touch his face.I felt the bandana on his face.I opened the alphabet book.

"This is a."I grabbed his hand.

"You just need two fingers.then gently touch it."

"Its feels bumpy."

"You have memorized the pattern the dots on it."

"Okay."

"This is B."I turned the page.

"It is A."

"No.this a new letter."

"Man,this will hard!"

"It makes you feel better it took me 1½ Years to get alphabet correct."

"Nope.still feel sad.but I know what will cheer me up."

"What?"

"you."He grabbed my hand.he put my hand on his cheek.I didn't feel the fabic of bandana near his eyes.I know he took it off.he grabbed my chin.he kissed me.I kissed back.he deepen the kiss.he was slowly pushing me back.I was laying on my back.I felt his body in between my knees.he  didn't kissing me.

"See this why I like you."

"I like you too but you need to get off me before my brother walks in."

"Right."he got off me.I sat up.
