I woke up to deetra screaming in my head.

I smirked.I got dressed and ready for school.

Then jermaine walked in.he gave my medicine.

"Where is your walking stick?"asked jermaine.

"Very."then I went school angry.I went to Latto who hang out in the hallway until class starts.

"Why is your eyes closed?"asked latto.

"Cuz this is my punishment."

"No.having no sunglasses."

"Oh.then open your eyes."I opened my cloudy eyes.

"Woah.thats cool."said latto.I closed my eyes.

"You got some shades for today?"

"Yeah."said latto she gave them to me.

"These are regular glasses."

"How you knew?"

"When I put shades on the brighten of the room goes down.but nice try."then she gave some sunglasses.I put it on.

"You wanna walk me to class?"

"I thought you see you don't need a guide?"

"I don't need a guide.I need my friend."then we walked to my homeroom.

"Dee what is the difference from your class and mine?"asked latto.

"In my class we most people who going blind,or losing their hearing.so my class have braille books for me and asl translator on the class.but the translator is my teacher."

"How actually you learn since you know?"

"the teacher translate all the notes to a paper that I can read."

"You should sit in on one of my classes."

"And be lost.no thank you."

"So,I will walking you to my one of my classes tomorrow."said latto.I rolled my eyes.

I brought dee to the school library.

"What you want to study?"Asked dee.

"chemistry."then dee took out a book with dots all over it.

"What is that?"

"A braille textbook for chemistry."

"I need study vocabulary for chapter 23."

"Chapter 23?"she opened the book and started feeling the pages.she was looking at the page like she was able to read like a normal person.

"Dee,do you get tried of people asking about blindness?"

"Yeah but I can't blame for being curious."

"You know you pretty normal with sunglasses on."

"Good."Then I reach across the table and took her shades off of her face.I put it next me.

"But normal is boring."she was looking at with her cloudy eyes.She chuckled.

"Those not mines.that's latto.don't lose it."

"I won't.now quiz me over the words."I already knew all this stuff.I just wanted to spend time with her.so I got few wrong to keep this study date longer.when her phone vibrated.I grabbed her phone from the table.

"What he said?"asked dee.

"Your brother say that Hispanic boy better drop you home if y'all studying this long."

"You Hispanic?"

"I am Puerto Rican."She looked confused.

"Same skin color but different place."

"Oh.what time is it?"

"Wow we been here for almost 3 hrs."

"We should be going."we started packing up our books.

"I parked in the front of school."We walked out the library.i held her hand even though there nobody in the hallways.we went to my car.I was driving her home when dee roll up her sleeve a little to scratch her arm.I notice light scars on her wrist.

"I know.I know.its bad.I will literally kill myself."she rolled her eyes.
