"How are you brothers? Tae I've known you your whole life I would know if you had a brother. You're a Kim and he's a Jeon, you aren't brothers" I looked at Hoseok and even he was confused, maybe he doesn't understand either

"We aren't true brothers like blood, there is no shared genetics between us. But we are brothers since we have the same vampire parents"

"Vampire parents? Who are they?" I hadn't even give it a second thought on how they became vampires or who turned them

"We haven't seen them for years" Jungkook answered

"So you do know each other then?" Hoseok asked and looked between them both

"Kind of, not really. I know hardly anything about him, we fell out a few years ago and haven't really spoken since. We were never close friends, but it looks like we're gunna have to make up and be friends again since you have the smell Jungkook likes" Tae answered with a sigh

"Why does that change anything?"

"Your smell is too captivating to me Jimin, there is no way I can just leave you alone now. My natural instincts keep me around you, it's the same with these two" he said pointing at Tae and Hoseok who smiled at each other and held hands

"Wait, so whether I like it or not, you're going to be in my life forever?" I asked shocked and he nodded with a smirk

"You will end up liking it though Jimin, if you don't already. It's a natural thing, once Jungkook finds his smell, which is you, the other person naturally is drawn to him. I mean we can both read your mind so we already know you fancy him" Tae said with a cheeky smile which caused me to blush. The look Jungkook gave me sent shivers down my spine, he gave a gentle squeeze on my thigh and took a sip of water

"Is there a way to make you stop reading my mind?"

"Yeah, I can turn it off whenever I want to, but in this situation I need to know how you're feeling" Tae comforted me "I hardly ever read your mind, trust me Min" he pinched my cheek and I just nodded, deciding it was easier to just trust him

"When did you start reading my mind?"

"When I asked you if Yoongi had ever hurt you before. You took a while to answer to I just let myself listen in. I'm sorry" I saw Jungkook have to take a deep breath at the mention of Yoongi, he caught my gaze and gave me a small smile

"Oh... yeah I remember your reaction being a little... off. But I just put it down to stress"

"It was but also because I listened in and knew he never had before. I'm sorry"

"It's fine, don't worry. You had good reasons" I assured Tae.

After we finished eating Hoseok and Tae left me with Jungkook. It was silent between us for a few moments, making it feel a little awkward. I stood up to collect plates but before I could do anything Jungkook took them off me

"No no no, we both know what happened last time you tried to clear plates, I won't have you hurting yourself again" he said with a stern voice but a soft smile at the end, I just nodded and sat down again

"Jungkook, why is it me that you like the smell of?"

"I don't know, everybody else smells good, don't misunderstand me but you, ah I don't know, you just quite literally make my mouth water. It's the most intoxicating smell I've ever known" he explained and I just furrowed my eyebrows a little "like to me, Hoseok smells pretty normal, it's a good smell, just like any average human, but to Tae... he will smell something completely different. Just like Tae will think you smell good, but nothing compares to Hoseok"
