A New Story [Corpse Party]

Chapter 7

         

            Seiko wandered the halls...alone. Without Naomi everything felt off, as if somehow she was being followed. Every so often she would turn around to see if anyone was behind her. She wanted to find Naomi, she had to apologize for whatever she had done to upset her. Down the hall was a the figure of person, they were just standing there, not moving. 

        "Naomi?" Seiko ran up to the figure only for it to slump to the ground. It was a dead body that had been propped up against the wall. Seiko let out a scream that echoed throughout the  whole school. She took of running forgetting about trying to find Naomi.

     "Naooomiii" Seiko wailed, it wasn't long before she remembered the reason she was wandering the halls. Naomi didn't seem to be anywhere, no matter how loud Seiko called, she wouldn't get an answer. "Where is she, she can't have gone far, especially on that ankle" Seiko peered into the girls restroom only to be grabbed from behind. She felt the persons hands move to her neck and begin to strangle her. She managed to get away. She turned around to face her assailant...it was Naomi. "Naomi! I've been looking all over for-" Seiko was cut off by Naomi grabbing her neck again and with superhuman strength squeezing the air out of Seiko. "Nao-mi please....don't.....I'm.......sor-" Seiko was unable to finish her sentence before she died....

        Ayumi and Yoshiki wandered the halls, looking for clues as to how to get out of this cursed school. 

       "How could this happen, we all did the charm right...didn't we" Ayumi shot a glare at Yoshiki, she was certain it was him who had messed up, on purpose. 

      "I know I said nine times exactly" Yoshiki looked away from Ayumi, he knew what she was thinking.

      "Or did you mess it up, you didn't think all this stuff was real, you could care less about everyone else and being friends!" Ayumi shoved Yoshiki, at this point it wasn't her who was in control.

      "What the hell Shinozaki?! I care! I wouldn't even be here right now if I didn't!" Yoshiki stopped walking.

      "YoUr FriEndS ArE AlL GOinG TO DIE" Ayumi started laughing and her voice had a mark darker tone than it had before. "IT"S ALL YOUR FAULT" At this point Yoshiki knew this wasn't Ayumi speaking. Whatever had a hold of her was making her body float and move in weird ways.

       "Let go of Shinozaki!" He tried to grab at her but her body was moved up higher.

      "Why? So I can go back to suffering....this body is mine!" The spirit taunted Yoshiki whisking Ayumi's body all around. If this kept up Ayumi was certain to die. 

      "Shinozaki! You have to fight this! Don't let this spirit control you" At this Ayumi's body fell to the floor, Yoshiki ran over and hugged her tightly to prevent the spirit from taking her away. "Come back to me Shinozaki" He kept a tight grip on her before he was pushed back.

       "Get off of me Kishinuma!" She scooted back towards the wall. "What do you think you doing?!" 

       "I was trying to save you from that spirit" He sighed and stood up.

         "What spirit, what are you talking about you pervert" Ayumi was back to he old self spewing insults at Yoshiki left and right. He put up with it, but it hurt him more than she knew...

    Satoshi, Mayu, and Yuka had managed to find an  entrance to what was the second wing of the school. 

    "This place is big for an elementary school" Mayu noted as they entered the second wing. The air in there was much thicker than in the first wing, but they would get used to it soon enough. Just as in the first wing the halls were covered in blood and had gaping holes everywhere. 

     "Big brother, my head hurts" Yuka whined, she never liked scary stories and now she was in one.

     "Why don't you and Suzumoto go wait out in the walkway, I'll look for the other's by myself" Satoshi offered but was quickly shutdown by both girls.

      " We can't leave you alone Mochida, this place is dangerous and being alone is a bad idea" Mayu insisted they stay together, no matter what happened. They made it to the second floor but were blocked off from going any further by fallen ceiling beams. 

      "Looks like we can't go any further, we might as well try the third floor" Satoshi suggested , but before they could leave a violent earthquake started. It caused the ceiling to collapse even further. When it was over Satoshi looked around, he and Yuka were fine, but where was Mayu? He looked around the room until he noticed a bloody pile of ceiling beams and pieces. That's when he saw Mayu's head had been cut clean off and the rest off her body had been smashed by the ceiling beams. Satoshi immediately covered Yuka's eyes and guided her out of the room before she could see what had become of Mayu....

     The earthquake also had affected the first wing, several more holes had formed in the floor blocking off maths and opening news ones at the same time. Ms. Yui and Morishige had given up on finding the others, and had shifted their focus on getting out. Hopefully the others had left already, and that's why they couldn't find them. Ms. Yui thought that over and over again in hopes that it was true. 

    "Ms. Yui, did you hear that?" Morishige had heard the scream of a student, it was Naomi's to be exact.

    "That was Nakashima! She must be close by then!" Ms. Yui looked in the direction of the scream. Her and Morishige quickly made their way to what they thought was the source, but were blocked off by the many large holes in the floor. 

    "It looks like we won't be able to reach her" Morishige started to turn around and leave, but Ms. Yui wouldn't let a hole separate her from a possibly hurt student. She jumped forward to get across the hole, but she was short and ended up falling to the floor below....
