I couldn't keep my mind on the football games. The two accidents that had taken place today had left me hopeless. Maybe I was just hallucinating I thought to myself. The football match was over and Sky High had won.
Chelse was really excited and supportive of Chad through the match. Zack had asked me a thousand times if I was feeling good so I just lied. I was certainly not ready to tell anyone yet...well for now. Zack dropped me home after we grabbed pizza. I was exhausted so I just changed into my pajamas and went to sleep immediately.
As I closed my eyes my mind drifted off to that place I feared the most. I was back in the lounge starring at the man in black in the dim light. I walked toward him my trembling and my heart pounding.
"Don't you dare come near me",he said threateningly.
For some reason I wasn't scared of him at all. I was actually feeling braver than I thought I would.
"What do you want from me?", I managed to answer boldly. "What are you doing in my house? What do you want from me? Who are you?"
"I warned you little girl, stay away from me"
That was it. I had heard enough. Him calling me a little girl was crossing the line.
"Let me show you what this little girl is capable of".
Just then the man took something from his jackets pocket. It looked like a sharp knife. My heart skipped a beat.
"Wha-what are you planning to do with that?"
Before he could even answer my legs acted like they had a mind of their own. My mind was telling me to stay and face the man and know who he was but my legs had took off already. I heard old footsteps pounding on the wooden boards.
"He is chasing me " I thought to myself.
Panic and fear spread through my entire body. I tripped and fell over one of the stairs. I had a cut but I had no time to look at it. The man was closing in on me. When I was rounding the corner I hit my head on the wall. I suddenly felt dizzy and I was ready to give up....
