"Well well well..." Tamantha says crossing her arms. "Do you remember me now babe?" she says.

"Cut the crap" Corey said.

"I will when you do" she says.

"Tami... don't do this" he says.

"Do what? Tell your wife about us?"

"Why can't you let it go?"

"Because you fuckin left me!"

"You went crazy! And you knew I had a wife!"

"And you knew I was an inexperienced young girl who you took advantage of!" She says and we all got quiet. I look over at James and he was staring at me. I bite my lip and look down.

"I apologized" Corey says and Tamantha laughs.

"What's so good about her?" Tami asked and I look over at her. "Why did you choose her over me?"

"I'm married Tami"

"Okay and? People get divorced all the time. You could have been with me" she says. "I know I'm not a lawyer but damn, I'm still going to college to be a fuckin pediatrician" she said and he shakes his head. "Do you miss me?"

"Tami..."

"Of course you don't because you picked up and moved and you kept me FUCKING HANGING! Your wife needs to know how much of a scum you are!" Tamantha says. I walk up to James and he was still staring at me.

"I want to talk to you" I said. He looks over at Tamantha and Corey still arguing then grabs my hand pulling me away from them down to his office. He shuts the door and I fiddle with my hands. "They are ridiculous" I said.

"You said it" he says staring at me.

"If you knew all this about your best friend... why'd you start it with me?" I asked looking at him. He scratches his jaw.

"I don't know..." he adds and I shake my head.

"James... I don't want to be the next Corey and Tamantha. I don't want to argue like them and I definitely do not want to hurt my mom"

"Nor do I" he says.

"I'm sorry for bringing Tamantha here and I'm sorry for basically threatening to tell my mom"

"I'm sorry for getting you involved" he says and I stare at him. I bite my lip and send a fake smile his way.

"Well... glad that's handled" I said and he stares at me. "I don't know what she's going to do, but hopefully I can talk her out of it"

"Could you?" he says.

"Yea I'll try" I said walking pass him. I get a tingling feeling that he was going to grab my arm, turn me around and smash his lips into mine. But that wasn't going to happen. I walk back to the dining room and Corey and Tamantha were gone?

"ARE YOU SHITTING ME?" someone yells. I turn around and run to the kitchen to the patio door and that's when I see Miranda throw her drink at Corey. Tamantha stares at me and smiles and I shake my head. Gahdamn Remi! Miranda comes to the patio door and I step aside as she marches pass me. Corey follows after her and I turn around and James was staring at me.

"I think I'm going to go" someone says and I look over and Tami smiles at me. "I feel so much better now, so thank you Remi" she says and walks pass me and out the kitchen pass James. He shakes his head and looks down.

"I don't know if I'm drunk or did I just witness a little girl in high school ruin a marriage?" my mom says coming in from the back.

"Wait what?" I said pretending to play dumb.
