Aiden, Amara and I were sitting at a table to eat breakfast. Sam and Dean walked in.

"Hey," Dean told us. "How you feeling?" I shrugged. Amara looked away. Aiden looked up but didn't say anything. Dean sighed, looking regretful. "Aiden, Amara, can we talk?"

"So now you wanna talk?" Amara asked. "Not yell like the other night." Dean closed his eyes in regret, sighing, not knowing what to say. "Nah, I was about to call Brandon, see how's he's holding up after taking off. You know, since he's all out on his own without any family or friends besides us. Since the only home he had, the only people he had other than us killed his father and sent him out on the run before we helped Brandon kill them all."

Amara stood, walking out of the room.

Aiden stood, following her. "Amara, wait."

Dean was frustrated at himself, not knowing how to fix this.

Sam looked at me. "What you, uh, working on?"

"Dead guy in Madison," I answered. "Police say it was a home invasion, but neighbor claims that she saw the vic's dead wife leave the crime scene."

"Let's check it out," Sam told us.

"What, you ready to ditch Damien?" Dean asked. "What do you wanna do? Leave him in a ring of holy oil with some Netflix and a frozen pizza?"

Sam rolled his eyes. "Ha. No. Actually, I thought we'd, uh, bring him along."

Dean scoffed. "Uh, hell, no. What, 'Adventures in Babysitting'? No, thank you."

"Dean, we can't hide him forever," I told him. "And, you know, just keeping him, Aiden and Amara cooped up here isn't working."

"Yeah, it is, actually," Dean told us. "You wanna know why? Because as long as Jack's here, he's not out there doing God knows what. So what, does this mean that your plan for bringing Mom back isn't working? 'Cause I'll say it again. Mom's dead, Sam. Lucifer ripped out her freaking heart. Now, the sooner you can wrap your head around that, the sooner we can all move on."

"So you're saying you want to move on, from Mom?" Sam asked.

Dean didn't answer. "Right now, I wanna kill some dead guy's dead wife."

"Dean, that isn't what this is about," I told him. "Jack, Aiden and Amara need to get out. They need to get some air. We all do."

"What does Aiden and Amara have to do with it?" Dean asked. "I mean, I would know, if they would talk to me."

"The reason why they're not is because they feel like they're caged here," I told him. "Aiden and Amara are getting beyond restless from being cooped up. Like they have to do something to work out the anger and their power so that they can feel normal again. Like I did when I had the mark. Only now, they don't have to kill to stay alive. They can go however long they need to without killing and still be fine, unlike I was. But with how restless they're getting, one of them is gonna lash out. And it's not gonna be their fault. I know you never wanted this life for Aiden and Amara, Dean. I never did either. But now we don't have a choice." Dean looked worried and concerned, sighing. "Jack, Aiden and Amara are all good kids. They just... let's take Aiden and Amara with us. I'll go with you. Give Jack a chance, please. For me. For Aiden and Amara. To prove to them that they're not gonna go dark side like they think they will. If we believe that we can save Jack, then Aiden and Amara can believe that they can still stay good."

Dean nodded in agreement. "All right. Yeah."
