Amara was sleeping in later than usual, causing Sam, Dean, Aiden and I to be confused.
I knocked on her door, opening it to look at Amara. "Hey, making pancakes. How many do you want?"
Amara sighed, not answering for a moment, still lying down. "Not hungry. Unlike Dad and Aiden, Mom, I'm not hungry all the time."
I chuckled in amusement, but noticed something was off with her, concerned. "You okay?"
Amara shrugged. "I'll be out there soon."
I nodded, leaving the room.

In the kitchen, Sam, Dean and Aiden were eating. Donna was calling me.
I was on the phone with her now. "Yeah. All right. Yeah."
Amara walked in.
"Ho, ho, ho," Aiden told her. "There she is. Saved you a short stack."
"Hey, Donna, we're all here," I told her. "I'm gonna put you on speaker." I did. "Uh, why don't you tell them what you told me?"
"Oh, it's my niece. She's gone missing. And the local cops don't... I know it's not your normal thing, but..."
"Text us the address," Dean told her. "We're on our way."
"Thank you"
I hung up.

Soon, we pulled up in the Impala to meet Donna by her truck outside a warehouse.
"Hey, Donna," Sam told her.
"Hey," Donna told us, hugging us all.
"How are you holding up?" I asked.
"Oh, you know, not great," Donna answered.
Aiden nodded in understanding. "Yeah."
"I'm sorry for calling you guys, but Jody's got her hands full with the girls," Donna explained.
"Hey, never apologize for calling us," Dean told her.
"So where's Amara's boy?" Donna asked.
"Brandon?" Amara asked. "He's--he's not my boy."
"That she admits," Aiden told her.
Amara elbowed Aiden to get him to shut up, amusing us. "And Brandon's on the down low because he's on the run from his former organization that wants him dead. He's trying to figure out a way to help us open a rift to another world so we can find Jack and Grandma Mary and save them."
Donna nodded in understanding.
"So, what do you know about your niece?" Sam asked.
"Uh, staties found her car side of the road," Donna explained. "Signs of struggle."
"And what was she doing out here?" I asked.
"She was taking a gap year," Donna told us. "It's like, this thing where..."
"Take a year off, run wild before you go to college," Dean finished.
"Mm-hmm," Donna agreed. "Yeah, I used to tell her about how much fun I had when I did it. Well, she thought that sounded like an adventure." Her voice broke with worry. "She thought..."
