Sam, Dean, Aiden, Amara and I were in a motel room where we were looking for Gabriel.

Amara was on the phone with Brandon. "Yeah, no, we just got in. Mm-hmm."

Dean looked at Sam as he was starting to unpack. "What are you doing? Don't unpack."

"Dude, we could be here for days," Sam told him.

Dean walked toward Sam. "No, no. Hey, hell, no. Hey."

Amara spoke over phone. "No, Dad's not talking to me, or you, Brandon. That's... just call us when you and Cas get to Amarillo, all right?"

Amara hung up.

"All right, look, Rowena's spell said that Gabriel would be here," I told them.

"Yeah, here or in Texas," Aiden told me.

"Yeah, she tracked his essence, which gross, to both places," I agreed.

Amara held up her phone. "So Brandon and Cas are gonna hit up the Lone Star State in a few hours, and we will check this place out."

"Okay, and that could take some time, which we don't have," I told them.

Sam sat down. "Look, I know you know that we've been following leads for the past two weeks. We have nothing to show for it. Meanwhile, Mom and Jack, they could be hurt."

"Or worse," Aiden told us worriedly. "And we're stuck here in this stupid motel room."

Aiden kicked the bed lightly, which caused it to vibrate, surprising us. Aiden kicked it again to turn it off.

Dean pointed at the bed. "Bonus." Sam and I gave Dean a look. Aiden and Amara rolled their eyes. Dean shrugged. "We're looking for some runaway, dumbass archangel who doesn't wanna be found."

There was a knock on the door. Sam, Dean and I drew our guns.

Amara looked toward the door, confused. "You won't need those. It's Gabriel."

Aiden nodded in agreement. We were only a little surprised they could tell with their powers. Aiden used his power to open the door.

Gabriel was wounded, holding his bleeding stomach. "Hey, guys. Looking for me?"

I was bandaging Gabriel's wounded side, which wasn't healing because of how low he was on grace. "All right, this is gonna hurt a little bit."

"A little?" Gabriel repeated skeptically.

Aiden leaned against the wall, arms crossed. "How'd you know we were here?"

"Come on," Gabriel told us. "I felt your witch's tracking spell the second she laid it on me. Tasted like haggis."

"So now you're in trouble," Aiden told him.

"What gave you that idea?" Gabriel asked.

"You show up on our doorstep, bleeding like a stuck pig," Aiden answered with honest sarcasm.

"This?" Gabriel asked. "Eh, you know, you roll into town for a little R&R, stumble into the wrong poker game, take a guy's money, his wife... things get messy."

"You're trying to tell us you came here for R&R?" Sam asked skeptically.

"Yeah, this isn't exactly the Rivera," I told him.

"I know, right?" Gabriel asked. "Huh. Yeah, so anyway, um, I don't suppose you guys have any more of my grace laying around, right? 'Cause, uh, the tank's a little low."
