Jay's POV
"Why hasn't Song called anyone? She should've been finished with detention by now." Connor asks, glancing at the clock-having been doing so for two minutes. It was already 5.
I glance up from my phone where I was trying to call Song. Maybe I shouldn't of been too harsh on her. I grab my keys off the kitchen table, and get up from the stool, "I'm going to the school. Anyone coming with?" I say impatiently.
"Yeah, I'm not letting anything happen to my sis." Rory gets off the floor and grabs his coat from the closet in the hallway leading off to the front door.
"Wait for us!" Sawyer calls from the top of the stairs with Sebastian.
I nod, and grab three coats from the closet, throwing two at the two youngest boys. I run to the door, opening it and leaving it open for everyone else. I move to one of the two cars we own, and call out, "Make sure you lock and shut the door!"
I hear the door shut and click-signally that it was locked. I open the driver door and get in, slightly slamming the door after. I had to make sure my baby sis was ok, and the sooner, the better. I hear three more doors shut, the car shaking from the force. I turn to put the keys in and catch a glimpse of Rory's worried face.
"I'm sure she's fine. Her phone probably died." I reassure him, although I needed reassurance myself, I wouldn't tell them that. They were scared for her as it was.
I drive messily, trying to rush and find Song. "Holy crap! Could you slow down? You are going 60!" I glance at the meter, and sure enough I was going 60. I slowed down a bit, but if there was one thing you could be sure of, was that I was very protective.
We pull up outside the high school, and I practically fly out of the car. I take two steps at a time, going up to the front entrance. I bang on the door, trying to get someone inside to notice.
I hear snickers behind me, so I turn to find Sawyer pressing a intercom button beside the door that I hadn't noticed. My face turns a bright red, but it quickly goes forgotten as the principals voice says, "Hello? What do you need? School has ended."
"Uhm, is Song River inside? I'm her older brother, Jay." I rush out, ending up stumbling on my words.
"Ah yes, I'm sure I saw her leaving a half hour ago. You can come in." A buzz sounds out, and Sebastian steps up and opens the door.
We all file in, seeing a portly man in front of us. I hold out my hand, "Jay River. We spoke on the phone. We are here because Song hasn't come home, and she wasn't picking up her phone. We were hoping she was still here at detention." I say frustrated.
"Well, we can go look look at the security cameras, but I'm not sure if that'll do anything to help." He starts walking down the hall to the left, so we follow him.
"I'm the principal here, Mr. Ebenezer. It's strange we haven't met before, as I'm aware all of your siblings have gone here." He says without glancing back.
"I dropped out of high school, I got a job offer, and I needed to support my family. I don't often come for events, leave that up for someone else, I can't be everywhere at once, and some of our brothers are a little wild. Can't have them getting the house all a mess, can we?" I chuckle slightly, not feeling amused but trying to lighten the situation, as we take a turn into what a plaque says is the principals office.
"Well that's a shame. Here we are." He leads us to some monitors.
He types in some commands into the keyboard, and camera footage appears on the screens, "That was 4:30... and here..." He mumbles under his breath.
An image of the building appears and we see Song looking out the door. She turns back, clearly talking to someone. I squint my eyes as she and a man walk out of the building, "Who's that?" Rory asks.
"That's a new teacher here. Names Michael Everst." The principal tells us.
Song follows him to a... white van. Damn it Song. Don't you know that you shouldn't ever go in someones car unless you know them well. I mentally face palm. The teacher looks around, and pulls out a brick from his bag.
"Shit! Shit... What the actual hell?" Sawyer exclaims as the man rams the brick into Songs head.
All I see is red, as I realize that Song had been kidnapped. "Damn it! What the hell do we do?!"
"Call the boys. Call the cops, call someone." I growl, banging a fist into the desk the monitors were on, making a fist-sized dent.
I see the principal take out his phone, calling the cops most likely. My brothers text the group chat as I run out the door, almost breaking the door as I slam it.

Song's POV
I was aware of the ties on my wrists and ankles, but I couldn't do anything about it. They dug in if I tried to move, or even when the van hit a pothole. I cringed, as the van jostled me around, drawing blood from my sore tied body parts. I tried to form words to the man in the front seat, but I couldn't think of anything to say. 'Why did you kidnap me?' seemed stupid to ask. If he was going to tell me that he already would've, or was waiting for something to tell me.
"It's a shame, I really enjoyed talking to you. I'm not about to go and get myself killed by boss, though." He tells me, for what reason I'm not sure. One thing I knew now though, was that he wasn't the one who wanted me to be kidnapped.
I kept silent, hoping he wouldn't try to talk to me again. I didn't want to associate with someone who took teenage girls away from their family. Could it be Mr. Stone trying to get revenge for earlier? He didn't seem that wounded when he talked to me privately. Could it be Mr. Ebenezer? He didn't seem like the kind of man to risk his job because of one measly girls comment. If he was, he wouldn't have become a school principal.
"Hey, kid? It's not anything personal, I didn't want to take you, but I have my own family to look out for. He knows everyones weaknesses." He tries to redeem himself.
"Yeah, I'm sure they aren't too proud at your cowardliness." I spit at him, fed up with him and this whole stupid thing. I just want my brothers, and Leo.
I try to stay strong, my brothers will come for me, but I can't help a whimper escape my mouth. I choke back a sob, this wasn't the end of me, I shouldn't be crying like a baby. "Anything to keep my family safe. I don't regret keeping them safe." He responds.
I yelp as we hit a bump. I would do anything to keep my family safe, but would I kidnap young girls? I couldn't stomach the idea, but I had a feeling I would. My family was the only thing I held onto as tightly as I do, so much that I couldn't imagine a life without them. I feel a little guilty at yelling at him, but I don't think it's anymore right. This whole situation was wrong, I haven't done anything wrong to anyone in my life that would cause them to hate me this badly.
I prayed under my breath, that my family would be ok, that they were coming to save me, that I would be able to see them again, that Leo was ok, that this boss guy wasn't as evil as I knew he was. I prayed about everything.
