Sebastians Pov
"I don't wanna go to school!" Song groans.
This happened every Monday. Song was stubborn and knew she could get away with murder, but this was something that we all knew was important to her. She wanted to be a therapist, and she had to go to school for that. She'd be really upset with us, and herself if she missed a day at school, when she could have been getting all the credit she needed to get into a good college. This was why we'd only allow her to miss school in emergency cases, such as her getting sick or family stuff.
"Stop complaining, and hurry up. You know you want to go to school." Sawyer states the obvious.
Me, Sawyer, and Song were really close considering we are triplets, in almost all the same classes, and the fact that we never knew mom at all. We like to call each other Energy, because my name ended in N, Sawyer's ends in R, and Songs name ends in G. NRG. Now say it really fast, and there you have it-Energy. We also called our little group Energy because we are the youngest, and often joke about how everyone else are old farts.
"No for real. I heard that there's a new girl at school. I really want her to be my friend, but what if she hates me?" I had heard that there was going to be a new girl in Quartersville. It's kind of hard not to when our town is really small, and Song was the only girl for sixteen years here. Of course there has been several girls that have stayed on vacation, or tried to live here, but their fathers found out how there was only one other female here, and decided to move for safety precautions.
"How could anyone hate you Song, you are the most innocent, and friendly girl I've ever met." I try to reassure her.
Me, Song, and Sawyer all shared a room. We didn't have enough room for anyone to get there own besides dad because he was, well, our father. It was six in the morning and we were all getting ready for school, minus everyone above eighteen. They were all getting ready for work. None of the older boys have gone to college, because we didn't have one in Quartersville. If you wanted to go to college then you'd have to go off to somewhere with a bigger population. Since we were separate from any country, (which would technically make us a country but everyone was really too lazy to sound out 'country', so we all just called it a town) we didn't make people go to college to get a good job. Of course people would be more likely to accept your services if you went to college, it really didn't matter. If you made good sandwiches, you make good sandwiches and people eat them-whether or not you went to college wouldn't really matter if you make good sandwiches, does it? Of course for medical, government, or educational jobs it's a different story. You would definitely have to go to college for these types of jobs for safety-and so we aren't raising a bunch of dumb butts.
I scoop Song up while grabbing our book bags and carry her down the stairs, despite her yelps of protest. I loved spoiling Song, she was often reluctant to accept any gifts besides food because she knew she didn't have anything to give anyone else in return, but she needs to relax. She needs to accept that we just want to spoil her because we are her older brothers, not because we want anything.
"Do you know what the new girls name is?" I ask Song, and she shakes her head.
"I know!" Of course Christian would know. He's all over any girl that stays in Quartersville.
"And what would her name be Chrissy?" Song asks.
"Ella Richer." He states matter of factly.
"Richer? Isn't that the last name of Evan?" Connor pops out of nowhere.
Hmmm, yeah that is the last name of Evan. Evan is one of my best friends, more specifically-the dude that lives next door and always comes to our house for dinner because he is too lazy to cook, and his dad is kicked him out of their house across town. Woah that's a long title. He didn't tell us that his sister, or someone related to him was coming to town? I'll probably interrogate him tonight.
I check the clock on my phone. "Crap guys, it's 7:30! We have to be there now!"
Song squirms out of my arms, and grabs her bag from me.
"If you're going to school, get in the car right now!" Kai yells at us, mid tying his converse.
We all run to the car. Kai always drives us, 'cause dad doesn't trust anyone else driving skills out of us all going to school.
Ok hello guys! This chapter is short, like most of my chapters will be, and yeah I know that this update is really late. If there is one thing you should know about me is that I'm trash at updating. Let me know if you have any suggestions for filler things in this story. Let me know if you have ships in this story, and definitely come up with ship names. I do know exactly how I want this story to end, I mean of course I'm not gonna tell you, but anyways. That is all for now, love you my roses.
