i cant help but smile at the dirty looks Jacob gives the man that has been teaching me how  shoot .every time Jacob  hits the target he sends the man behind me a triumphant glare and he chest swells with pride as he makes shoot after shoot.

"breath , focus , and shoot'' the man says as he holds my arms and body in shooting position.i shoot and miss.

'' i cant concentrate with all these people here.... do you think private lessons will help''. i say and Jacobs eyes widen and he rushes over to us.

''i think i know something that can help'' Jacob says before throwing the man a glare.

he returns me to the same stance and he stands closer to me then the man did.

''focus on one thing Athena'' he said and i decided to focus on the rise and fall of his chest behind me.

''focused?'',he asked and i nod ''now breath and keep your eye on the target .

i make it this time and the two men turn to each other.you could actually feel the awkward as the two men stared eacother down.

''how long have you been working here'',Jacob asked sarcastically.

''only a week and I've helped allot of people improve with there nerves and jitters with holding a gun you know that's the most important part familiarizing yourself with the gun''.

''how many of these people know how to shoot let alone defend themselves'' Jacob asked raising an eyebrow and he knew where he was going here.

messing with the mans ego in front of a girl that leads to a fight in all situations.as Jacob was about to take a step forward i stepped in between the two raging bags of testosterone and hormones.

''we're done here so lets go find out the out the punishment for loosing that bet'' he dragged his attention towards me as if just realizing i was standing between them.

he nods and walks away with me as we find our way to the mall.its really big almost the size of two floors of kings plaza side by side.i cant help but think its weird that they have all this here.i was always prepared for a zombie apocalypse but this makes my kit back at my home look like a first aid kit.they have everything from food courts to hospitals.i almost fainted when i saw a Victoria secret but Jacob dragged me away.i was relived to find out we didn't have to pay for all these things i forgot to bring money.we were roaming in the girls area when i saw a Tu-Tu and a shell bra.

Jacobs eyes widened as he caught on to what i was doing.

''no,no absolutely not choose something else please can i at least leave this world with a shred of dignity''.i laughed and squealed like a school girl jumping up and down.

''this is going to be so fun,you should take this as a lesson listen to me more often ''

''please Athena''he said on hands and knees.i laughed ruffled his hair and walked towards the doors leaving the store.

i looked back to see him still there looking as if his dog just died or he saw a ghost.

Jacob shuffled into the cafeteria with the Tu-Tu and sea shell bra and stood up on the table sent me a deathly glare and put on the radio.you could here everyone in the room stifle there laughter as he started singing nursery rhymes and dancing.my brother came in half way through the itsy bittsy spider and started laughing along.i wanted to help him out of his misery.i got up on the table with him and danced and sang.the whole room erupted in laughter and eventually everyone started singing along and right then i think everyone forgot about what was beyond these doors and just let go, for a second you could see the genuine happiness in every ones eyes as the sang along to marry had a little lamb.

Jacob wouldn't talk to me after that he wrote me a letter saying he was giving me the cold shoulder for the rest of the day.i left him in the room with my brother and i guess there talking about whatever boys talk about.i walked pass the entrance where the women who greeted us sat.

''excuse me but did your group get tested yet'' 

''tested  for what, oh i assure we are not blood thirsty mutants''i say joking around and her face only goes cold.

''you need to be tested and i would appreciate if you and your group would come down to the medical room,room a'' she said.

''if i may ask how long has this safe house been here it seems so big her like it took years to make this all under ground''

''well we all thought a year back it would be necessary just in case aliens take over or something'' she said with a laugh.

''aliens ?'' i say with an unsure smile of my own.

''i was kidding but you should get your group together before lights go out''

i walked away and couldn't help but notice the uneasy felling that i had about this place . i had to find out how long this place has been here and who made it.

''wake up we need to go to the medical room'' i said shaking my brother.

''well go tomorrow'' he said groaning.

''you asked for it'' i said sighing.

i started tickling my brother i did this every time he wouldn't wake up to go to school.hes very violent i have a series of scars from doing this one to many times in very early mornings.Jacob rolled over on his bed realizing the commotion behind him.

''its late go to sleep'' he said annoyed.

''we have to go to the medical to get checked or registered in here now hurry up the lady said we have there go today''. 

Jacob rolled of his bed and he was only wearing khaki shorts and no shorts. i turned pink and faced the other way .

''your naked ,put some cloths on''.

he chuckled '' i ll put a shirt on''.

i left the room with my brother and he kept giving me strange looks.

''what''

''you like him don't you''

''what no I've known the guy for like five days''

''so love at first sight is also possible''

''i don't care i dint like him i have other things to think about''.

''OH,so you dint care about what he thinks about you well i guess '', my brother said shrugging nonchalantly.he walked ahead of me and turned the corner.

wait,what did he say about was it something bad.

''wait,you should tell me just in case i need to pound his face in-get back over here'' i scream running after my brother.
